这文章四年前刚养猪弟时也有参考,我那时还特地手抄一份...现在居然弄丢了！
这次把这文章找出来实在是因为猪弟麻身边太多狗友不会挑选饲料...

How to grade your dog's food:
如何挑选狗食：

Start with a grade of 100:

从100分开始计算

1) For every listing of "by-product", subtract 10 points
有任何by-product(副产品)成分的每一项扣10分

2) For every non-specific animal source ("meat" or "poultry", meat, meal or fat
) reference, subtract 10 points
有任何不确定动物来源(肉粉或是肉蓉) 每一项扣10分

3) If the food contains BHA, BHT, or ethoxyquin, subtract 10 points
如果成分里有BHA BHT或是ethoxyquin(防腐剂的一种) 扣10分
(这边稍微解释一下原因：ETHOXYQUIN对猫/狗的安全性未有详细报告，而BHA/BHT之类的防腐剂有致癌的危险)

4) For every grain "mill run" or non-specific grain source, subtract 5 points
有任何谷物如果有研磨或是没确定来源的每一项扣5分

5) If the same grain ingredient is used 2 or more times in the first five
ingredients (i.e. "ground brown rice", "brewera??s rice", "rice flour"
are all the same grain), subtract 5 points
如果成分里前5项有用 2个以上的谷物扣5分

6) If the protein sources are not meat meal and there are less than 2 meats in
the top 3 ingredients, subtract 3 points
如果蛋白质来源不是肉粉，而前3项来源只有使用两种以下的肉扣3分

7) If it contains any artificial colorants, subtract 3 points
如果成分内有人工染色剂扣3分

8 ) If it contains ground corn or whole grain corn, subtract 3 points
如果成分里面有磨碎的玉米或是整棵玉米扣3分

9) If corn is listed in the top 5 ingredients, subtract 2 more points
如果成分的前五项之中有玉米多扣2分

10) If the food contains any animal fat other than fish oil, subtract 2 points
如果成分内有动物脂肪扣2分((鱼油除外))

11) If lamb is the only animal protein source (unless your dog is allergic
to other protein sources), subtract 2 points
如果蛋白质来源只有羊肉(除非你的狗对其他蛋白质来源过敏) 扣2分

12) If it contains soy or soybeans, subtract 2 points
如果成分里面有大豆扣2分

13) If it contains wheat (unless you know that your dog isna??t allergic
to wheat), subtract 2 points
如果成分里面有麦子 (除非你知道你的狗对麦子不会过敏) 扣2分

14) If it contains beef (unless you know that your dog isna??t allergic to
beef), subtract 1 point
如果成分里面有牛肉除非你知道你的狗对牛肉不会过敏扣1分

15) If it contains salt, subtract 1 point
如果成分里面有盐(氯化钠) 扣1分

Extra Credit:
额外加分

1) If any of the meat sources are organic, add 5 points
成分中只要有有机肉加5分

2) If the food is endorsed by any major breed group or nutritionist, add 5
points
食物对被任何研究饲养或营养学的专业团队认同加5分

3) If the food is baked not extruded, add 5 points
饲料是用烘培而非膨化加5分

4) If the food contains probiotics, add 3 points
成分里有益生菌加3分

5) If the food contains fruit, add 3 points
成分里有水果加3分

6) If the food contains vegetables (NOT corn or other grains), add 3 points
饲料理有蔬菜(不是玉米或是谷物) 加3分

7) If the animal sources are hormone-free and antibiotic-free, add 2 points
如果动物成分来源没有使用贺尔蒙或是抗生素的加2分

8) If the food contains barley, add 2 points
如果成分里有大麦加2分

9) If the food contains flax seed oil (not just the seeds), add 2 points
如果成分里面有亚麻油(不是只有亚麻子) 加2分

10) If the food contains oats or oatmeal, add 1 point
如果成分里面有燕麦或是燕麦片加1分

11) If the food contains sunflower oil, add 1 point
如果成分里面有向日葵油(葵花油) 加1分

12) For every different specific animal protein source (other than the first
one; count "chicken" and "chicken meal" as only one protein source, but
"chicken" and "" as 2 different sources), add 1 point
每一项另外动物蛋白质来源
(鸡肉或是鸡肉粉视同一项，必须要是"另一种肉") 加1分

13) If it contains glucosamine and chondroitin, add 1 point
如果成分有葡萄糖胺或是软骨素加1分

14) If the vegetables have been tested for pesticides and are pesticide-free,
add 1 point
如果用通过杀虫剂测试的蔬菜或是没用杀虫剂的蔬菜加1分
