Daniel Powter (丹尼尔·帕德) 为加拿大唱作歌手 ,

出生音乐世家 , 母亲是一位钢琴家 , 拥有绝对音感 ,

四岁学小提琴十三岁学钢琴 ,

但是也并非一路顺遂 ,

从小因为阅读障碍的影响 , 引来旁人异样的眼光 , 

也因此大学无法毕业而辍学 ,

辍学后的他开始在各乐队演出累积经验 

 

2002年创作了红透半边天的《 Bad Day》,

但是因为害羞内向而怯场 , 无法在舞台上展现实力

 

2005年才历经万难发行个人首张同名专辑《 Daniel Powter 》, 其中的《 Bad Day》
