BEIJING: China on Sunday successfully conducted the maiden flight of its first indigenous amphibious aircraft, believed to be the world"s largest, in southern Guangdong Province.

北京：周日，中国首架国产水陆两栖飞机在广东南部首飞成功，这架飞机被认为是世界上最大的两栖飞机。

据了解，AG600飞机按照「水陆两栖、一机多型、系列发展」的设计思路，在满足森林灭火和水上救援要求的同时，兼顾改装成海洋环境监测和保护等用途的可能性和灵活性。

该机采用悬臂式上单翼、前三点可收放式起落架、单船身水陆两栖飞机布局形式，选装4台国产涡桨六发动机，最大起飞重量53.5吨，具有载重量大、航程远、续航时间长的特点。

AG600既能在陆地上起降，又能在水面上起降，可在水源与火场之间多次往返投水灭火，森林灭火、特种灭火效率高，20秒内可一次汲水12吨，单次投水救火面积可达4000余平方米；海上救援能力强，可快速响应、快速到达，可在复杂气象条件下实施救援行动，起降抗浪能力不低于2米，可一次救助50名海上遇险人员。

作为中国「三个大飞机」之一的AG600，是当今世界在研的最大一款水陆两栖飞机，是继中国自主研制的大型运输机运-20、大型客机C919之后，中国在大飞机领域研制工作取得的又一重大成果。
