格但斯克 - 位于波兰北部,德国人称它为但泽Danzig,古代欧洲琥珀之路的起点,有莫特拉瓦河Motława蜿蜒流过,临波罗的海,是该国北部沿海地区的最大城市和最重要的海港。

格但斯克这座城市在欧洲政治、军事与外交史上,历来属于最受人关注的焦点之一。600多年来,一直是日耳曼和斯拉夫两大民族之间反复争夺的主要焦点。因其优越的地理位置,自古以来便是日耳曼与斯拉夫两大民族的争夺焦点,所以引发了无数次的战争,也数次被德意志或波兰王朝占据。1939年9月1日,纳粹德国的军舰炮击但泽的波兰基地,标志著第二次世界大战的正式爆发,城市中的波兰人被关入集中营,直至1945年随著二次大战落幕,格但斯克才重新回到波兰的怀抱。

 

 

格但斯克旧市政厅,这有著哥德式高塔的砖造建筑物建于1379~1561年,建筑物因战争和火灾被破坏,后来又经修复,现在作为历史博物馆对外开放。

格但斯克还是世界闻名的团结工会的发祥地,这是社会主义国家中第一个真正独立的政治组织,在1989年东欧社会主义阵营结束共产主义对其统治的过程中扮演了极为重要的角色。


由于波兰北部盛产琥珀,使得波兰成为世界琥珀产量最丰富的国家之一,因为格但斯克聚集了许多琥珀加工作坊而变成世界琥珀最大集散地,也因此有了琥珀之都的美誉。


来到旧城区,会看到非常雄伟的圣母玛丽亚教堂,这座教堂是世界上最大的砖造教堂,也是世界第六大教堂,历经160年建成,教堂屋顶与窗户在二次大战中毁坏,现在看到的教堂是战后重建的。

索波特,是波兰北部滨海省的一个海滨城镇,位于波罗的海南岸,大约有40,000人口。该市和格但斯克、格丁尼亚组成的波兰三联市,名列波兰第四大都会区。


索波特是一个健身和度假胜地,以欧洲最长的木栈桥Molo(515.5米)著称,在上面可以看见格但斯克湾。该市还以闻名欧洲的索波特国际歌唱节著称。

Gdańsk is the capital of Gdańsk Pomerania and the largest city of Kashubia

In the early-modern age Gdańsk was a royal city of Poland. It was considered the wealthiest and the largest city of Poland, prior to the 18th century rapid growth of Warsaw.

Gdańsk lies at the mouth of the Motława River, connected to the LeniwkaGdańsk is also an important industrial center. In the late Middle Ages it was an important seaport and shipbuilding town.

 

 

 

 

In the 1980s it would become the birthplace of the Solidarity movement, which played a major role in bringing an end to Communist rule in Poland.

The city's name is thought to originate from the Gdania River, the original name of the Motława branch on which the city is situated.

The city has some buildings surviving from the time of the Hanseatic League. Most tourist attractions are located along or near Ulica Długa and Długi Targ, a pedestrian thoroughfare surrounded by buildings reconstructed in historical style and flanked at both ends by elaborate city gates. This part of the city is sometimes referred to as the Royal Route, since it was once the former path of processions for visiting Kings of Poland.

 

 

 

Sopot is a seaside resort city in Eastern Pomeraniaon the southern coast of the Baltic Sea in northern Poland

It lies between the larger cities of Gdańsk to the southeast and Gdynia to the northwest. The three cities together make up the metropolitan area of Tri-City.

Sopot is a major health-spa and tourist resort destination. It has the longest wooden pier in Europe, at 515.5 metres, stretching out into the Bay of Gdańsk. The city is also famous for its Sopot International Song Festival, the largest such event in Europe after the Eurovision Song Contest. Among its other attractions is a fountain of bromidespring water, known as the "inhalation mushroom".

 

 

 

 

 

Gdynia is a city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Polandand a seaport of Gdańsk Bay on the south coast of the Baltic Sea. Located in Kashubia in Eastern Pomerania, Gdynia is part of a conurbation with the spa town of Sopot, the city of Gdańsk and suburban communities, which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity

The city won numerous awards in relation to safety, infrastructure, quality of life and a rich variety of tourist attractions. In 2013 Gdynia was ranked as Poland's best city to live in and topped the rankings in the overarching category of general quality of life.

Gdynia hosts the Gdynia Film Festival, the main Polish film festival, and was the venue for the International Random Film Festival in 2014.
