Most of them will need supplement essays. The best way to find them is to register an account in CommonApp and you will see all of their supplement essay requirements and topics. Different schools have different essay topics. Some of them only need you to write a short essay about why you want to go to that school and what you can contribute to their community.

Some of them will ask some really weird questions because they want to see your creativity. Wake Forest often has the most essays and some of them need you to do a lot of research before you actually start writing them. But the more difficult these essays are, the bigger chance you can get accepted even if you don』t have a good SAT because they really think the essays are important.

That』s why many of my students who didn』t have the best SAT can still get accepted by WFU because they write really good essays (and its still a very top school). So, your essays are super important. 不知道卤煮是申请本科还是研究生。不管怎样，建议先选校，再考虑文书数量。

一般来讲，大UTOP50需要补充文书的居多，LAC文理学院基本上不是很多。

美国本科申请TOP 50的文书，基本上就是common essay/PS+ short answer questions/supplemental essays （50-500 words不等）.

美国研究生申请，大部分都是SOP/PS（基本上所有专业都需要）+essays（商科较多)/writing sample （TESOL，public administration，public policy等会涉及）/作品集（艺术类会需要）

文书都是围绕学术兴趣，个人背景或者活动经历来展开的。经历丰富了，文书有人指导，数量不是问题。

不知道你说的补充文书是指什么？

不是common application系统的学校，加州系列啊，华大西雅图啊，都是自己的题目，没有所谓的主文书和小文书

如果你是想指交一篇主文书不想再写每个学校单独的文书的话，top50应该是没有可选性的，我记得只有一个凯斯西储是不需要的。往后看看吧，我记得osu和psu应该也不用

大多数都需要 supplement essay，只需要 common 主文书的情况很少。

谢邀，top 50很多都需要的，建议题主先有个大概的想法，想去哪几个学校，初步做一个选校，再去一一核实就可以了。

这个问题太宽了，，，，top太多了，，，按照不同的项目及学校要求都不一样，我觉得你应该根据自己情况而定再去选择学校及项目才对 。

美国大学是非常特别极其很看重文书的哦，TOP50更加看重，你说的 补充文书 是？
