Beth Gibbons销魂又迷离的嗓音回荡在空气中，带著丝缕般的忧愁，直透人心。唤起我们心中的脆弱、与破碎的记忆。

 

这就是Portishead，来自英国的Trip Hop团，一个在电子乐与人声间达到漂亮平衡的乐团。Trip Hop是90’崛起于英国的曲风，算是Acid House(迷幻浩室)的一个分支。除了迷幻的味道之外，辨识度高的碎拍（Breakbeat）加上空灵却又曲折的嗓音，都可以看出Trip Hop揉合了Hip Hop、Funk、Jazz、House，乃至于实验音乐的痕迹。

 

由于前有Björk的《Debut》、Massive Attack的《Blue Line》、Aphex Twin的《Ambient Works》铺路，Portishead融合三者的优势并发表了他们第一张专辑《Dummy》后，不论是比Björk更空灵又带著神经质的哀伤嗓音、比Massive Attack更畅快的碎拍，又或者是跟Aphex Twin一样杰出的氛围营造，让他们可说是90’前段最具代表性的Trip Hop乐团之一。

 

说回他们这首《Roads》，虽然歌名是Roads（路），但歌词里面透露出的，却是前途茫茫的「绝路」。Beth Gibbon颤抖又脆弱的呼喊著「How can it feel, this wrong」，有时候，说不出口的痛苦和哀伤，只能把自己深锁进自己的世界中的绝望，才是最可怕的黑暗。觉得自己的日子过得光明又愉快吗？来品尝看看Trip Hop中的极品Portishead吧。
