The research topic of the paper involved in the case is my research topic for my Ph.D. I designed experiments, made most of them, and participated in writing and revising paper. When I knew my name is on the wrong position of the paper, I expressed my objection about the authorship order to the first author and the corresponding authors. However, the corresponding author finally submitted the paper to you without my permission.

I need the copyright transfer agreement urgently now. I need it to prove to the court that I have not authorized them to publish that paper.

Please find attached COPYRIGHT TRANSFER AGREEMENT Wiley-VCH.pdf, which is downloaded from the website of Wiley-VCH.

There is "Publication cannot proceed without a signed copy of this Agreement" in the COPYRIGHT TRANSFER AGREEMENT Wiley-VCH, and there is "Publication cannot proceed without your acceptance of this Agreement" in ctc.2015XXtransmittal.pdf and there is no signature in it.

Please advise why there is this kind of difference, and whether the copyright transfer agreement without signatures of all contributors can be permitted by ChemCatChem.

Dear X Liu,

In Editorial Manager the signature is handled digitally. Please see page 7 of the pdf where Professor Zhao entered his name. It is not possible to continue with publication without this digital signature. Only the signature of the corresponding author is required for publication. It is the corresponding authors responsibility to have secured the permission of all the coauthors before submission of the paper. The form that you downloaded from the website is not commonly used by journals using the Editorial Manager system. We do use it occasionally when authors have particular needs, but we did not use it for your paper.
