撒母耳記上  I Samuel 15:24~35

²⁴掃羅對撒母耳說：「我有罪了，我因懼怕百姓，聽從他們的話，就違背了耶和華的命令和你的言語。²⁵現在求你赦免我的罪，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和華。」²⁶撒母耳對掃羅說：「我不同你回去；因為你厭棄耶和華的命令，耶和華也厭棄你作以色列的王。」²⁷撒母耳轉身要走，掃羅就扯住他外袍的衣襟，衣襟就撕斷了。²⁸撒母耳對他說：「如今，今日耶和華使以色列國與你斷絕，將這國賜與比你更好的人。²⁹以色列的大能者必不致說謊，也不致後悔；因為祂迥非世人，決不後悔。」³⁰掃羅說：「我有罪了，雖然如此，求你在我百姓的長老和以色列人面對抬舉我，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和華﹣你的 神」。³¹於是撒母耳轉身跟隨掃羅回去，掃羅就敬拜耶和華。³²撒母耳說：「要亞瑪力王亞甲帶到我這裡來。」亞甲就歡歡喜喜地來到他面前，心裡說：死亡的苦難必定過去了。³³撒母耳說：「你既用刀使婦人喪子，這樣，你母親在婦人中也必喪子。」於是，撒母耳在吉甲耶和華面前將亞甲殺死。³⁴撒母耳回到了拉瑪。掃羅上他所住的基比亞，回自己的家去了。³⁵撒母耳直到死的日子，再沒有見掃羅；但撒母耳為掃羅悲傷，是因耶和華後悔立他為以色列的王。

²⁴Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned.  I violated the LORD"s command and your instructions.  I was afraid of the men and so I gave in to them.  ²⁵Now I beg you, forgive my sin and come back with me, so that I may worship the LORD."  ²⁶But Samuel said to him, "I will not go back with you.  You have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you as king over Israel!"  ²⁷As Samuel turned to leave, Saul caught hold of the hem of his robe, and it tore.  ²⁸Samuel said to him, "The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors -- to one better than you.  ²⁹He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie of change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind."  ³⁰Saul replied, "I have sinned.  But please honor me before the elders of my people and before Israel; come back with me, so that I may worship the LORD your God."  ³¹So Samuel went back with Saul, and Saul worshiped the LORD.  ³²Then Samuel said, "Bring me Agag king of the Amalekites."  Agag came to him in chains.  And he thought, "Surely the bitterness of death is past."  ³³But Samuel said, "As your sword has made women childless, so will your mother be childless among women."  And Samuel put Agag to death before the LORD at Gilgal.  ³⁴Then Samuel left for Ramah, but Saul went up to his home in Gibeah of Saul.  ³⁵Until the day Samuel died, he did not go to see Saul again, though Samuel mourned for him.  And the LORD regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.

 

竹子﹠天父 談心時刻

我們的認罪（或說認錯），是真心誠意的知錯而認，還是帶著什麼樣的目的，或著，是為了「面子」問題，而做出「一時」的舉動呢？

今天看到掃羅的認錯，看起來是知錯了，但卻感覺好像多了一層的什麼東西在上面。原來，他的認錯，是想要換得撒母耳仍然能在眾民面前高舉這位「王」。但他卻不知道，其實他王位的權柄，已經被 神收回去了， 神已經不要再讓他繼續做以色列的王了。原因，就是他已經被金錢和名譽這些物質界的需要捆挷，而分不清怎麼做才是對的。如此的王，當然不可能合宜的對待他的百姓，更不用說能帶給百姓多少的幸福和平安了。

這讓我有了很深的自省，我每次的認罪，是真的知道自己錯了，真心的來到 神的面前認錯並且願意悔改；還是我想和 神交換「利益」，好叫我可以不用失去如今我手中已經抓住的一切。掃羅的認罪，只有「承認」但卻沒有「放下」，他重視的，是他的王位和面子能不能保住。但真正的認罪，不單單是承認了自己的錯，而是願意接受改變而放棄一切原本仍然緊抓在手中，無法放下的「依靠」；這樣，才能有改變的空間，才不會一直在這個罪中打轉。

 神拿走掃羅的權柄，其實祂是很難過的，因為祂照著起初祂創造掃羅的目的興起了他，卻因為掃羅無法放下這些世界所重視的一切，而不得不拿走他的這個權柄。祂一定覺得很可惜，但祂卻不得不這樣做，免得掃羅落入到更不好的景況中。如果，掃羅他意識到了這個目的，他一定可以有重新再成為 神見證的機會。我相信， 神也都在成全我們的身份和角色，但最重要的，不是「成全了沒」，而是「順服了沒」。
