撒母耳記上  I Samuel 17:50~58

⁵⁰這樣，大衛用機弦甩石，勝了那非利士人，打死他；大衛手中卻沒有刀。⁵¹大衛跑去，站在非利士人身旁，將他的刀從鞘中拔出來，殺死他，割了他的頭。非利士眾人看見他們討戰的勇士死了，就都逃跑。⁵²我以色列人和猶大人便起身吶喊，追趕非利士人，直到迦特_{（或譯：該）}和以革倫的城門。被殺的非利士人倒在沙拉音的路上，直到迦特和以革倫。⁵³以色列人追趕非利士人回來，就奪了他們的營盤。⁵⁴大衛將那非利士人的頭拿到耶路撒冷，卻將他軍裝放在自己的帳棚裡。⁵⁵掃羅看見大衛去攻擊非利士人，就問元帥押尼珥說：「押尼珥啊，那少年人是誰的兒子？」押尼珥說：「我敢在王面前起誓，我不知道。」⁵⁶王說：「你可以問問那幼年人是誰的兒子。」⁵⁷大衛打死非利士人回來，押尼珥領他到掃羅面前，他手中拿著非利士人的頭。⁵⁸掃羅問他說：「少年人哪，你是誰的兒子？」大衛說：「我是你僕人伯利恆人耶西的兒子。」

⁵⁰So, David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.  ⁵¹David ran the stood over him.  He took hold of the Philistine's sword and drew it from the sheath.  After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.  When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran.  ⁵²Then the men of Israel and Judah surged forward with a shout and pursued the Philistines to the ectrance of Gath and to the gates of Ekron.  Their dead were strewn along the Shaaraim road to Gath and Ekron.  ⁵³When the Israelites returned from chasing the Philistines, they plundered their camp.  ⁵⁴David took the Philistine's head and brought it to Jerusalem; he put the Philistine's weapons in his own tent.  ⁵⁵As Saul watched David going out to meet the Philistine, he said to Abner, commander of the army, "Abner, whose son is that young man?"  Abner replied, "As surely as you live, Your Majesty, I don't know."  ⁵⁶The king said, "Find out whose son this young man is."  ⁵⁷As soon as David returned from killing the Philistine, Abner took him and brought him before Saul, with David still holding the Philistine's head.  ⁵⁸"Whose son are you, young man?" Saul asked him.  David said, "I am son of your servant Jesse of Bethlehem."

 

竹子﹠天父 談心時刻

大衛的得勝，並不是用刀用槍，而是用他自己的「甩石機弦」。這麼不起眼的小東西，卻是大衛擊殺歌利亞，這個偉大的巨人的武器，你想到什麼了嗎？

 神給了每個人都有不同的恩賜才幹，讓我們可以有能力來活出祂創造的美好。可是，我們裡面卻總是覺得「自己不夠好，別人的比較好」，然後拼命地想要學習怎麼用別人的方式，來活出我們期待中的樣子。最後，把自己累的半死，果效呢？卻總是無法嘗到得勝的美好，還一直覺得是自己的裝備不夠。

這真的是撒旦放在我們心中，一個極大的謊言和捆挷。因為，真的不要傻了，你永遠不可能學對會怎麼用「別人」的武器，來活出自己生命的呼召的。大衛很清楚，他不可能用刀用槍，因為他用不順而且他也太小了，這些「大人」的東西是不合的。所以，他選擇「脫下」這些大人的裝備，回頭用自己最順手的「工具」（我覺他是這麼認為的）來面對這個強敵歌利亞。沒想到，他就這樣贏了，而且還大大激勵了以色列的軍隊和百姓，打贏了一場漂亮的勝杖。

或許，我們都會有種感覺「自己會得算不了什麼，不值得一提。」是啊！這是個事實，不需要否認它！只是，自己會得算不了什麼，那自己算什麼呢？如果我們願意相信 神的創造是美好的，那我們為什麼成為「甚差」的那一個呢？自己會得的確是一點點，但是，如果你這根火柴不把它劃燃起來，又怎麼知道你會點起的是什麼東西呢？請不忘了，在 神眼中的每個人，從來不是沒什麼，不然，祂為什麼會覺得「這人甚好」呢？

停止穿上別人的裝備了吧！甚至，你還要脫下你已經穿上的裝備，回覆到最起初 神給你的恩典才幹裡面，與祂一起合作，讓祂來使用你的恩賜才幹，成就你所無法想像大事吧！別忘了，你是 神眼中的「甚好」唷！
