安雅英文|高中升大学|五步骤写好一篇英文作文—个人选择:一个人念书 vs. 一群人一起念书
常常收到许多学生困扰著如何写一篇英文作文
其实不止学测指考会考、全民英检、雅思、托福也会出现类似个人选择的题型
今天来教大家怎样利用五个步骤写出一篇像样的英文作文
以个人选择(有人喜欢....;有人喜欢...,你喜欢什么?)的题型来示范

题目:有些人喜欢独自研究功课,另一些人喜欢与一群人一起念书。
你喜欢怎么做呢?请写一篇作文,第一段根据你的观察说明你选择的读书方式为哪一种
第二段则就你的选择和经验,具体说明这种方式的好处。
第一步:构思想法、快速列出两选项的优点,再决定要写哪个
独自念书优点:
1. 安静、不受打扰
2. 可以按造自己的进度、时间
3. 比较有效率
经验:
曾经试过一起念书,结果不好,还是适合自己念
一群人一起念书优点:
1. 可以讨论、有问题立即有人回应
2. 可以分配不同部分,进而了解自己不足的地方
3. 互相激励
经验:
每次都跟大家一起念书,过程很欢乐,有问题也有人能解决,从中发展教人的天份
或是 曾经试过自己念书,发现效率差,无法达到目标,组了读书会之后,进步很多
第二步:写大纲、起承转合
开头: 有人喜欢自己念,而我喜欢和大家一起
Some people prefer A while I like B ...
Some people enjoy A; however, In my opinion, S + V
承:解释原因1并给例子,解释原因2
The first reason is that ....
For example, S + V
Furthermore, S + V
个人经验(讲过去自己念书失败):怎样念都念不好,分数冲不上去
In my experience, ....
As I remember ...
When I was ..., I ...
转:一起念书之后的转变
However, ...
合:一起念书比较适合自己
In short, ...

第三步:建立 keywords 表
打扰、干扰:distract, disturb, interfere
专注: concentrate on, focus on, stay focused, be immersed in sth
按造自己进度:arrange one's schedule
效率:efficiency
有生产力:productive
组读书团:form/ organize a studying group
讨论: discuss
激励: inspire
第四步:下笔
先写一两句简短的开头(introduction)并说明自己的选择(选一群人):
Some people prefer studying alone, for it’s quiet and they can design their own studying plan that suits them best.
As for me, I favor brainstorming with my companions.
解释原因(可以讨论): The first reason is that it is more efficient for me as I can discuss the questions with each other
and everybody can come up with a variety of opinions, which makes studying less boring but more pleasurable.
举例: If I study by myself, I will not have partners to consult with.
解释原因(可分配工作):Secondly, we can form a studying group and each of us can be responsible for different parts that they are best at.
Thus, when gathering together, all members will help give a short summary and key points of the part they are in charge of;
说明好处:by doing so, it helps reinforce my impression and improve efficiency.
Also, I can find my shortage because sometimes it’s hard for a person to see his blind spots if always going alone
个人经验(讲过去自己念书失败): In my experience, I used to study alone and I always ranked tenth in our class.
I could not improve no matter how hard I tried.
转(加入读书会之后):However, one day, one of my friends invited me to join their study group.
Every day, after the class, we discussed things which teachers had taught in the classes and I could get profits during the discussion.
承接剧情:Two months later, I improved a lot, getting the fifth in my class.
Also, not only did my teachers but also my classmates feel surprised.
合:In short, after beginning studying with classmates, I realized that studying with a group was more suitable for me.
第五步:检查
1. 时态:发生在过去的事实一率用过去简单式(S + Ved)、
强调当下的动作则使用过去进行式(S + was/were + Ving)、
用来比较比过去再更过去的用过去完成式(S + had + p.p.)
2. 主词动词是否一致
3. 是否出现过多赘字、或是自打脸的情况(例如一下讲自己念好,一下又说一群人也不错)
4. 避免使用重复的字(换句话说)
5. 变换句型:使用倒装句来强调
Not only did my teachers but also my classmates feel surprised.
形容词子句:who/that/which 所带出来不完整的子句,放在要修饰的名词后面(可作分词构句)
副词子句:由形容词所带出来,修饰主要句子的子句(可作分词构句)
名词子句:由 that/wh-/whether/if 是否 带出来作为名词的子句(当一个句子的主词或受词)
同学在自己练习写作的时候,最好还是要找人帮忙批改跟看
这样才有办法练到自己看不见得盲点
