If you had read "The Lady Or The Tiger?" you probably know that it's an incomplete story.

This is what I came up with for the ending...

For a split second, she wanted him dead. She couldn't bear the consequence fot leaving him alive. But, when his eyes net hers, everything changed. She knew his anxious look was asking her the question. His fate was depending on her decision. She loved him. How could she lead him to death? But... could she bear looking at her beloved getting married to the lovely lady she hated?

Her decision had been made. She raised her hand and made a swift movement to the right. He turned and walked towards the right door. Everyone in the arena was suddenly quiet, watching him open the door. The door was wide open, and there was a lady waling out gracefully. Then, the door beneath the king was opened, and a priest, some chouisters, and dancing girls came out. The wedding was held immediately. They accepted blessing from everyone in the arena. The princess, of course, was there, watching her beloved getting married. Tons and tons of tears were rolling out of her eyes. She was heartbroken. As a princess, she had never been depressed. Her father had always been protecting her. But... look at her father right now! The happiness is written all over his face. Was he glad that his daughter was heartbroken? Well, that wasn't quite right. The king, of course, wanted the young man dead. However, this result was good enough for him. He looked at his beloved daughter. He was surprised to find tears rolling down her eyes. She had never cried like this before, even when her own mother died. Then, he looked at the young man. Surprisingly, he didn't look quite happy for marrying a beauty. Instead, he was looking at the princess with sadness. The king stood up from his seat and so did the princess. The arena was suddenly quiet again. Everyone looked at the royal family as they left.

Days passed, the princess had locked herself in her room crying for days. She refused to go to the garden, eat and even meet her own father. These days, she had been thinking over the decision she had made. Was he worth it? He wasn't married to her; he was married to another girl. Every time she thought of this, she was torturing herself by stabbing her heart with the flashback of her lover getting married. It hurt her more than any wound she had ever got. Maybe she had made the wrong decision. Maybe all he wanted was her authority. There were so many possibilities that she could think of. Each one was worse than another. The king wasn't happy either. Looking at his beloved daughter being depressed made him felt guilty. If he didn't find out thier love affair, his daughter could've been with her lover and lived happily like usual. His daughter wasn't the only one who was depressed. According to the information he got from a spy he sent, the young man wasn't doing well either. The young man had no smile since he got married at the arena. The king had to do something to make it up for them. He had already known that they loved each other. He was cruel to seperate them. But... how's he going to make it up? Even though he was the king, he had no power to seperate a married couple. Then, an evil smile appeared on his face.

The next day, the king made an announcement. It was about a competition that was taking place at the arena. Whoever won the competition would be able to choose his award! Luckily, the princess' lover walked pass and saw the poster. For him, it would be a great opportunity to get rid of the lady and get back to his true love. The day had arrived, the great competition was held. Seven challengers were standing at the center of the arena. No one knew what the challenge might be. Soon, the king arrived and the princess too. The princess sat down and scanned through the arena. She was surprised to find ger lover standing among the challengers. She looked at him with her beautiful eyes wide opened. She met his eyes; he was looking at her in the same way. She wanted to scream, to stop the competition. She knew the challenge would be fighting the tiger. Every challenger down there would be dead. No one would survive, including her lover. She had to do something, but it was too late because the competition had started. It was almost over, there was only one challenger left. She couldn't watch, so she closed her eyes and listened. She heard screaming and shouting. Then, it was a complete silence. Surprisingly, what she heard next was the sound of happiness. She opened her eyes cautiously. She found her lover standing beside a dead tiger at the center of the arena. He did it! He defeated the tiger! The king then stood up from his seat and cleared his throat. "Young man, you're the champion," the king said carefully. "Now, as promise, you can get any award you ask for." As the man walked towards the king everyone had their eyes on him. The man bowed and said calmly, "I would like to marry the princess." The princess looked at him with gratefulness, and then looked at her father. She could almost tell that he was struggling about the dicision he was about to make. A few moments later, the king cleared his throat again and said, "Very well, your wedding with the princess will be taking place at the palace tomorrow." The princess looked at her father with joyousness. She peeked at her lover and saw him throwing a rock towards her. She closed her eyes, not daring to look. Then, she felt the rock knocked down something behind her. She turned around and saw the lovely lady her lover married over a week ago lying ont he ground. The princess was surprised to find a knife in her hand. She was trying to kill the princess! The lady was brought to the dungeon by guards. The king thanked the young man for saving his daughter and considered him as a hero.

The princess' wedding was held on the next day. They got blessing from everyone that attended. The princess lived happily ever after with her lover. As for the lady, no one ever saw her again. No one knows if she got punished or not. Her disappearance is still a mystery until now.

So... what do you think about my ending? Yea. Everyone has different ideas about the ending. Maybe you should compose one on your own. Make the ending the one you want.
