这是你的个人选择。申请没有限制，但最好为五所院校，特别是如果您充满野心地申请一些门槛较高的高级学府时。

另一种方法是及早申请级别较高的院校，因为如果遭到拒绝，则在下一次申请时就明白需要降低目标。

3.找到与您要学习的课程相关的研究网站。这可能有点困难，因为从申请页面到研究页面通常没有链接。但是，如果您首先搜索博士学位的招生页面，则几乎肯定会找到对应的项目人员正在从事的工作的链接。查看这些项目，阅读一些概述，甚至可以浏览一些学术论文，并寻找您感兴趣的领域。如果您在个人陈述中提及一部分，并最重要地评论或反思其中的一些研究主题，那么您的个人陈述将会真正地脱颖而出。

The choice is yours. There』s no limit, but it』s a good idea to apply to around five, especially if you』re being ambitious and applying to some high-ranking universities that may be difficult to enter.

Another approach is to apply early with the highest-ranking universities and, if you get rejected, lower your aim with your next group of applications.

It』s also important not to send the same application to different universities. Remember, your application will finally be read by the Academic Director of the programme you want to enter. If he or she thinks you have just copied and pasted an entire application and just changed the name of the university, they will spot this immediately. Academic Directors are often proud of the programmes they run and want applicants to have researched their choices properly. If they think you』re someone who is too lazy to research their university and department properly, it』s not a good sign! How well are you going to research an essay or dissertation on the course itself?!

For your personal statement, my recommendation is to:

1. Read the course descriptions for the programme really carefully and explain why one or two of the modules excite you

2. Find out who the Academic Director of the department is. Find their profile webpage and find out about their interests. Are any the same as yours?

3. Find the research webpage(s) related to the programme you want to study. This can be a bit difficult because often there are no links from the admission page to the research pages. But if you search the PhD admissions page first, you will almost certainly find links to what research projects staff are doing. Look at these projects, read some of the overviews, maybe even skim some of the academic papers, and look for areas that interest you. If you can mention and, most importantly, comment or reflect on some of these research themes, your personal statement will really stand out to your reader.

你想申几个就几个 有钱就行

申请个数是没有限制，有一些英国学校是没有申请费，有部分是有申请费的，所以建议看好学校再申请，申请了也不想去的学校就别申请，浪费精力和时间。

想申多少申多少，不过几个点注意一下：

①一个学校建议不要同时递交多个专业申请

②如果你非要一个学校同时递交多个申请，申请的专业不要在同一院系下

③有些专业是有申请费的，最低30磅左右，主要是商科专业收，如果你申的多，叠加起来数额也不小

④学校和学校间可能部分材料的要求不一样，注意按学校要求进行材料递交

⑤楼上也有提到的，虽然可以多申，但建议对自己有一个合理的申请规划，申请不光是填个表就结束的事情，不如给自己三个档次：冲刺档，适中档，保底档，每档定1-3所学校，进行申请比较科学，不然不谈填表累人，后期学校一多你查后续都容易混乱。
