楚王有一只白猿被视为神猿，就算是楚国射箭好手都很难射中牠。楚王曾经拿箭射击，牠不但毫无惧色，还故意在树上嬉戏跳跃，于是楚王命令可以「百步穿杨」的神射手养由基射下白猿。

        只见养由基才调好弓弦而已，箭尚未射出，原本在树上嬉戏玩闹的白猿就开始抱树号哭，因为白猿曾见识过养由基「箭无虚发」的本领，因此知道自己将会难逃一死。

        这个故事给我们的启示是：才艺不佳者，连神猴都敢戏弄人﹔才艺精湛者，任谁都无法看轻。

       Yang you- Ji was tuning up the string, the arrow has not yet shot, the white ape began to hug tree to cry, because the white ape once saw Yang you- Ji to kill its companion, so it knew it will die.

       This story gives us the inspiration is that “if you just have poor talent, even monkey is daring to tease you; if you have amazing talent, no one can underestimate you.”
