楚王有一隻白猿被視為神猿，就算是楚國射箭好手都很難射中牠。楚王曾經拿箭射擊，牠不但毫無懼色，還故意在樹上嬉戲跳躍，於是楚王命令可以「百步穿楊」的神射手養由基射下白猿。

        只見養由基才調好弓弦而已，箭尚未射出，原本在樹上嬉戲玩鬧的白猿就開始抱樹號哭，因為白猿曾見識過養由基「箭無虛發」的本領，因此知道自己將會難逃一死。

        這個故事給我們的啟示是：才藝不佳者，連神猴都敢戲弄人﹔才藝精湛者，任誰都無法看輕。

 

        The king of Chu has a white ape was considered divine, even if it was difficult for the archery to shot it. When the king took the arrow shooting, it was fearless and deliberately played jumping in the trees, so the king commanded the marksman Yang you- Ji to shot down the white ape.

       Yang you- Ji was tuning up the string, the arrow has not yet shot, the white ape began to hug tree to cry, because the white ape once saw Yang you- Ji to kill its companion, so it knew it will die.

       This story gives us the inspiration is that “if you just have poor talent, even monkey is daring to tease you; if you have amazing talent, no one can underestimate you.”
