最近英国歌手Calum Scott在YouTube上释出了2018年新专辑《Only Human》的所有歌曲，释出前一天我在Spotify上就已经把整张专辑听完了，觉得真是一张不可多得的专辑，在音乐渐渐走向不真实路线(Autotune、EDM等)的氛围下，难得有一个如此出众的小咖歌手，做出了这样一张动人且漂亮的专辑，实在令我非常安慰。

有人说他是「继Adele跟Sam Smith之后，最感人的声音」，这我完全认同，不得不说他跟Sam Smith的音乐带给我的感觉有点像，只不过Sam会比Calum再忧郁一些些。Calum的歌几乎每一首都好听，像是他最经典的〈Rhythm Inside〉，或是最近非常火红的〈You Are The Reason〉，我个人都非常推荐。

 

据说这首歌是Calum经历情伤之时所写，他在这首歌里充分地表达了挽留对方的渴望，并且让我们清楚的感受到他的心痛、悲伤。我会喜欢Calum的歌，很大一部份是因为他歌曲的旋律都满独特的，总会在平凡中看见一些新奇的元素，顺便说一下，这是我个人对于任何流行音乐的小偏好；另外，他的歌声也是非常动人的，高亢有穿透力的嗓子，搭配上诚恳清晰的咬字，让他每首不同风格的歌，都能传达出不同的情绪。
