马留斯很幸运，一见钟情的不只他，珂赛特也深受这个青年吸引。

这首歌里，成年的珂赛特终于登场了，并且将自己的感情，不论是新萌芽的爱情或对养父的敬爱及疑惑，全部表达出来

已经长大成人的珂赛特婷婷玉立，尚万强遵守他对芳婷的诺言，将其视为亲生女儿抚养，然而绝口不提以往

我不确定设定里珂赛特是否还记得小时候被泰纳第夫妇虐待一事，甚至她的生母芳婷，总之，珂赛特将疼爱她、照料她的尚万强视为父亲一般敬爱，但是也不免心生疑惑，对从前的事感到好奇

 

前文曾提及，尚万强在发现有人注意到他们以后，带著珂赛特搬进修道院，导致马留斯遍寻不著佳人

这里他在一位帮手的协助下，终于再次见到心上人

这位帮手叫做Eponine (爱波宁)，其实前面她的父母和弟弟都出现过了，也就是泰纳第夫妇和街头顽童加夫洛许

由于不景气，原本经营旅店的泰纳第夫妇最终也支持不下去而破产，所以爱波宁也因此流落街头

 

不知怎地她结识了马留斯，并暗恋著他 ── 但马留斯却对珂赛特一见钟情

为了让爱人高兴，爱波宁引领马留斯找到珂赛特，自己却心痛不已

是一个善良可爱的好姑娘呢
