听到这首歌时，脑中浮现张曼娟的一篇文章，内容描写著爱情热恋时的悸动和快乐，其中，张曼娟在文章中写了一句话：「造一座桥，从我这里，到你那里。」

如果后来的结果是两人分开，他们的心情大概就是这首歌吧！

Bridges 是来自纽西兰的兄妹双人组 Broods 的作品，描写在一段不欢而散的恋情中，恨不得把过往的连结全部抹灭的心情。淡淡的电子节奏搭配主唱 Georgia 轻柔空灵的声音，听起来非常舒服，但用清淡的口吻诉说想和对方一刀两断的心情也让人格外有感触。

'' Bridges'' 在歌词中虽然用来比喻恋人间的爱情联系，但其实也可以拿来引申人与人之间的连结，若是闹翻了的确会让人很想将双方连结的桥梁破坏殆尽，老死不相往来，但是当初桥梁也是随著时间流逝，让越来越熟悉的两人一砖一瓦堆砌起来的，若是肆意破坏，要重建并不是一件那么容易的事啊！

Broods 于 2014 年 3 月推出了二版 MV 中描述了一段微妙的友情， MV 中的男孩和女孩是朋友，可以看出来男孩是一个内向、不擅交际的人，而天真活泼的女孩逐渐打开他的心房，随著歌曲推演，男孩眼中的女孩不再是单纯的朋友形象，而是逐渐转化为充满魅力的「女人」，两人的情谊也在不对等的互动下逐渐扭曲，整部 MV 让人看完有一种唏嘘的感觉，而两人情谊连结的桥梁应该是狠狠地被烧毁了吧！
