接下來我們搜集總結了按照一篇論文各個部分/模塊寫作所需的句式。今天我們來講「方法和材料」這部分。雖然這部分並不是文章中最開頭的內容，但是有寫作經驗的朋友一般都喜歡先寫這部分，甚至有的科研高手在做實驗的同時就把這部分搞定了。
「方法和材料」部分簡介
「方法和材料」應該提供實驗過程的清晰描述以及選擇的具體的實驗方法。這部分應該盡量詳細，以便讀者可以根據這部分的描述來重複實驗過程並重現結果。這也就要求大家在平時做實驗時做好實驗記錄，包括時間（比如農學中的播種時間，收穫時間），所用儀器，藥品的型號和廠商等信息，各種實驗設置參數等等各種細節。很多文章的審稿人再審稿的時候看完了題目摘要，接下來要看的就是方法和材料這部分，因為文章的科學嚴謹性以及一篇文章值不值得看它的結果主要就是由這部分來判斷，所以請務必詳細說明實驗的各種細節。
這部分主要使用過去時來描述在完成實驗時所執行的操作。應至少描述以下幾點：

- Materials and Data collection （為了總結方便，把Materials和Data collection的常用句式放到了一起做為第2點，但很多文章的方法材料部分應該首先寫Materials）
- Data analysis
- Statistical testing
