曬穀場手作坊-手作桑葉茶、桑葉蛋糕，充滿著如同對家人般滿滿的愛心！
曬穀場是一間手作茶點的小茶坊，名字是以老一輩的名字取名的：「阿公」的名字叫Buda，「阿嬤」的名字叫 Banai ，Buda Banai合起來翻成中文的意思就是曬米的廣場，簡稱『曬穀場』。老闆娘的父母是以種稻米起家，但因傳統農家一向只懂種稻米，對行銷與政府的政策並不了解，導致收成後的利潤都被中盤商給剝削，反而越種越窮，甚至出現了經濟危機，此時，老闆與老闆娘的姐妹們，決定要保衛自家的稻米，決定要自產、自銷。甚至利用台東池上在地豐富資源的桑葉，研發出了桑葉米蛋糕、桑葉茶。
“Buda Banai" is a small hut for afternnon tea and refreshments. It was named after the owner’s grandparents. Her grandfather’s name was Buda, and her grandmother’s name was Banai. Together, it meant dried grain feilds, which is what,"Shai Gu Chang" means in Chinese. Her parents grew grain for a living, but traditional farmers only knew how to grow grain feilds, not marketing, nor polictics. Therefore, wholesalers saw this oppertunity and consistantly exploited them from profits. They became poor and were almost in a financial crisis, that’s why the owner’s husband and sisters decided to defend its own rice. They decided to self-produce and self-market their rice. They’ve even used of mulberries grown in Taitung and have developed mulberry rice cake and mulberry leaf tea.
曬穀場は米でパンとデザートを作る喫茶店です。しかも全部手作りです。店の名前はお婆さんとお爺さんの名前で名付けました。お婆さんは「Banai」、お爺さんは「Buda」、「Buda Banai」で翻訳すると「米を干す広場」の意味です。それで曬穀場という店名をつけました。お婆さんとお爺さんは米を育て方しかわからないので、利益はほぼ中盤の商人たちに取られ、一時期経済困難に落ちたこともあります。二人はマケーティングと政府の政策もさっぱりわからないので、娘さんが自分の米を守りために自分で米を売るようになりました。さらに地域の資源をうまく使って桑葉でお茶とかケーキなどを開発しました。
