這張專輯與他上一張距離滿長一段期間的，Josh自己是說因為Call Me Maybe大紅之後受到了許多壓力，而自己開始處處質疑自己，加上得了胰臟炎，所以放自己了大概6、7個月的假，之後就做了這張專輯，Astoria。個人建議在聆聽Astoria的時候，不要跳著聽，從第一首一路聽到最後吧！

這首歌是由Josh Ramsay一人作詞與作曲的曲子。
歌曲內容是在講一個人不想放棄一段戀情，因為若是每個人一生中有一個命定的靈魂伴侶，要怎麼知道你是不是已經找到了呢?
但若是很幸運的找到了，卻不小心搞砸的話，之後會不會就再也遇不到了呢?

感覺Josh把他的經歷與情緒很生動的寫進去了，或許是因為他媽媽被診斷出患有路易氏體型失智症，也或許是因為他結束了一段很長也都邁入了訂婚階段的感情，所以歌曲會滿沉重的。

【歌詞翻譯解析】

I wake up tonight feeling paper thin and I'm paper white
You say "just come back to bed"
這邊的她其實並不是真的在Josh身邊，只是Josh在做夢而已。
Voice sounds strange, but I soon forget
And your sad blue eyes like mine
Full of pity now, but I don't know why
Sad blue eyes 是指的是Amanda McEwan(前女友)的眼睛。
Josh有發現她與現實的不同之處，但是還沒意識到這是夢境。
而在Josh的夢裡，她用著憐憫眼神看著他，個人是在猜測或許Josh在潛意識裡也覺得自己無法釋懷分手這件事，對方可能覺得他很可悲。
The light dims without regret
without regret沒有任何遺憾，就像女方這次走的毅然決然，沒有任何轉圜的餘地。而light dims，代表著夢要醒了。

silhouette是黑白分明的輪廓或是剪影的意思。

phantom limb是幻肢。
幻肢是某些失去四肢的人所產生的一種幻覺，他們會覺得已失去的四肢還是與身軀有連接的。
在這邊就像Josh還以為女生還在一樣，他依舊將重心放在這個已經結束的關係上。

Josh不想放棄這段感情，他的理由，也就是這整首歌的重點：如果每個人生來就有一個靈魂伴侶，那怎麼知道自己是不是已經找到了那個唯一一個的真愛了呢?

女方也曾想維持這段關係，但是中間的困難還是導致了這樣的結局。

這邊的Listen應該是指Josh聽自己腦袋裡的聲音。
他著迷的不斷去溫習他們之前的回憶，直到dark，可能是一些負面的思想或是他們分手的現實，打擊到他為止。

phantom pain是幻痛。
與phantom limb很像，但是指在失去的四肢上所產生的痛感，有時也拿來描述與摯愛天人永隔的悲痛。
在這邊Josh像是在渴求依靠著幻痛來讓自己每晚都可以夢見她，因為只有如此才回到以前他們還在一起的時光。
