I never thought i would go for such artistic workshop, somehow the price of the workshop with the pastel nagomi really attracted me.

It is my first time encountered pastel nagomi, i like this kind of artwork but never know how it was created.

This is how google define pastel nagomi art:

a form of Japanese art healing founded by Hosoya Norikatsu, using pastels and fingers to create a gentle soft and heart-touching art through simple yet unique ways ofpainting techniques. The kanji character of “NAGOMI” is '和', which means harmony.

The workshop is hosted by ShareDskills at PJ, it was my 4th workshop this year.

They have so many workshops each month, and most of their workshops price do not exceed RM100, and the workshop variety is really wide, from water brush to knitting, almost cover every range.

I really like how they decor up their space, and also you can feel the heart they want to give the students who come to their workshop a place where is comfy to learn and enjoy.

Today class also have a few pairs of mother and daughter, mostly are girls.

however, the materials on today workshop are not allowed to be brought home, so indeed need to think twice if really want to invest in this hobby.

Even the pastel crayon is not cheap, but last i also bought a cheap one from daiso, and realized daiso in Jaya Shopping centre PJ offer lots of varieties on stationary.

The teacher today is also jumping career to be a full time artist after discovered pastel nagomi few years ago. She pasted out her artwork at the corner in the workshop too.

Basically we are using our finger to create the art instead using the crayon directly itself which we used to do it during school time.

I learnt a lot today, not sure how well i would use my precious time in future to do the 3rd pastel nagomi art, but it was a fun and enjoyable class.

Then i also had my lunch at a ramen place at Jaya, soup base is not bad, just dont like the noodle is a bit soggy.
