南丁格爾誓言是南丁格爾爲護士所立的誓約。弗洛倫斯·南丁格爾（FlorenceNightingale，1820-1910年），世界著名護理專家，近代護理教育的創始人，護理學的奠基人。1851年在德國一所醫院接受護理訓練。她所撰寫的《醫院札記》和《護理札記》兩書，以及100餘篇論文，均被認爲是護理教育和醫院管理的重要文獻。1860年在英國聖多馬醫院首創近代護理學校。她的教育思想和辦學經驗被歐美和亞洲國家所採用。

餘謹以至誠，

於上帝及會衆面前宣誓：

終身純潔，忠貞職守。

勿爲有損之事，

勿取服或故用有害之藥。

盡力提高護理之標準，

慎守病人家務及祕密。

竭誠協助醫生之診治，

務謀病者之福利。

I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly,

to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully.

I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous,

and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug.

I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession,

and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling.

With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work,

and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care.
