虽然美国 Apple 公司已经停止生产 AirPort 无线基地台产品线，不过依然继续提供已购买用户韧体更新和维护。今天就为 802.11n AirPort Express 发布了 Firmware Update 7.8 韧体更新，带来最新的 AirPlay 2 隔空播放支援。

AirPort Express 用户可以透过 iOS 设备上的 AirPort Utility 应用下载和安装最新的韧体，为 802.11n AirPort Express 基站增加了 AirPlay 2 支援。更新后可以在安装了 iOS 11.4.1 或者 iOS 12 的 iOS 设备上看到 AirPort Express 已经出现在 AirPlay 2 的设备列表中。
