从2009年开始,单细胞测序技术就开始生根发芽,直到今天发展成为了一个广泛应用的技术和领域。从2015年Cusanovich DA等人于《Science》发表文章「Multiplex single cell profiling of chromatin accessibility by combinatorial cellular indexing」后,单细胞ATAC测序这一枝也在逐渐发展。

SnapATAC(Fang et al., BioRxiv. 2019 Apr. 22. link) 的作者UCSD博士生Rongxin Fan制作了四年来的单细胞ATAC-seq的时间线(如下图)。
