總之，看了金牌特務2以後，忽然覺得很想來全文研讀一下這首經典老歌

文末附上梅林演唱的悲壯版本

 

 

註的部份

註1，Life is old there, older than the trees. Younger than the mountains, Growing like a breeze

直接翻譯是，「那裡的生活古老，比森林都要老；比羣山還要年輕，如微風生生不息」

其實是通順的，但我覺得不夠到位，而且這樣的句子是以「生活」為主詞

我想歌詞要表達的意思是，「我」遵循著那裡的傳統生活，「我」在那裡是最年輕的，「我」在那裡生活如風自在

 

註2，misty taste of moonshine

其實我很猶豫moonshine究竟是私釀酒還是指月光，不管是哪個意思都跟上下文接得上

所以最後我是參考了國外對這首歌的背景解釋←連結點我

這篇文章解釋歌手在此是在回憶他在故鄉辛苦工作的日子，以及慰勞：enjoy a nice country moonshine

所以應該是做酒精解吧
