首先說明一個小知識，疾病雖然是抽象的概念，但在英文裡是可數名詞。

runny nose 流鼻水
My son has a runny nose. 我的兒子流鼻水。

fever 發燒
Hana has a fever. 哈娜發燒了。
They all have fevers. 他們都發燒了。

flu 流行性感冒
She has the flu. 她得了流行性感冒。
flu前面要加"the"定冠詞，因為flu是特定病毒的流行。
The flu spreads quickly. 流感傳播得很快。

sympton 症狀
Do you have any other symptoms? 你還有其他症狀嗎?

muscle ache 肌肉痠痛
How can I relieve my muscle ache? 要如何才能減輕我的肌肉痠痛?

sore throat 喉嚨痛
Take throat lozenges for your sore throat. 喫喉錠來治療你的喉嚨痛。

cough 咳嗽
Tim coughs badly. 提姆咳嗽得很嚴重。

stomachache 胃痛
John needs antacid for his stomachache. 約翰需要胃藥來治療胃痛。
hurt指身體外部的痛，ache指身體內部的痛。

pain reliever 止痛藥
The doctor prescribed some pain relivers for me. 醫生開了些止痛藥給我。

stiff 僵硬的
She has a stiff neck. 她的脖子很僵硬。

tablet 藥片
Take one tablet after each meal. 每餐後服用一個藥片。
