　　The 2020 United States presidential election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020, will be the 59th quadrennial US presidential election.

　　Unlike any other US president in the modern era, Donald Trump filed for re-election on the day he took office in January 2017, instead of waiting the traditional two years.

　　距離明年美國大選投票日還有一年半之遙，衆多參選人士已陸續啓動競選活動。特朗普在2017年1月就職時，便宣示了連任意圖，並沒有像此前的總統那樣，任期過半後才宣佈參選。

　　Recent history tells us Americans usually give their presidents another four years. That should lend Trump an advantage. But the president has been a very controversial one during his first term.

　　We've only just passed the half-way point of Donald Trump's first term as president, but there's already a host of Democrats racing to stop him from winning a second.
