背景：這要從2010年由美國RB歌手亞瑟小子和說唱歌手皮普保羅演唱的一首歌曲《DJ Got Us Fallin In Love》讓我們墜入愛河，當年這首歌被無數歌星拒之門外，卻沒想到最終火了這麼多年。
在《我的世界》發布的第三年，也就是2011年，Minecraft火遍了全球，所以一首基於《DJ讓我們墜入愛河》的改編歌曲《Revenge》誕生。由CaptainSparklez 製作、TryHardNinja 演唱的「Minecraft版本」改編歌。
歌詞的內容：描述了一位「我的世界」玩家在礦洞探索了很久，終於發現鑽石，卻被「苦力怕」一直從地底追到了地面，在被苦力怕悄悄接近，「殘忍」殺害之後，史蒂夫很沮喪地回到了家中。夜晚，還是乖乖躲在屋裡吧。

「梗」的來歷：最初是一位叫做King的玩家在YouTube上傳一段影片，講述了自己和小夥伴在群聊中用這首《Revenge》來玩歌曲接龍。也是因為這首歌太過於洗腦了，所以每當有人打出Creeper，就會有人「aw man」接下去。並且以文字的方式，在腦海中唱出這首歌。
