在讲评这首歌之前，我必须先说些废话，对于这位蓝调吉他神之乐手，我们要用最谦卑的姿态来面对他，并声明"以一个菜鸟之姿来评论神是非常大胆妄为的"。

但为了训练心脏以及不怕死的文章...这是必要考验。

讲蓝调，就先微提一下蓝调的历史。

蓝调发源自黑人，是在奴隶制度下衍生而出的产物，刚开始只有类似工作歌的样子，最后发展成「乡村蓝调」「经典蓝调」「城市(Urban)蓝调」，

这样一个雏形的分支其实就已经足够大家聆听很久很久了。

并以一种忧郁、浅白却具诗意的语句配合和弦来做一个即兴的独唱演出。

第六首 The Pan Alley  沧桑的蓝调音阶透过SRV的手指，绘制出那惨淡的模糊影像，如果仔细聆听歌词，你会发现这一切是多么残酷。

长达九分钟的一首歌，也是令我深刻的一首歌曲，前奏到主歌这段主要是酝酿情绪，也是用旋律说故事，一个黑暗角落的事件。

主歌段落开始陈述这起事件的过程，SRV虽然是吉他手，但唱功也是不俗的。

不是嘶哑，而是一种无奈，这世道就是这样的一种口吻。

唱到了"I heard a pistol shoot..." 运用了连续并快速的槌勾弦，使整个情绪突然紧绷了起来，最后又放松下去。

接著回到平铺直叙的处理方式，一路到了尾奏，大鼓三下"咚""咚""咚" 紧接著带出最后的高潮。

简单、俐落，SRV式的solo，想知道为什么这样说？
