在講評這首歌之前，我必須先說些廢話，對於這位藍調吉他神之樂手，我們要用最謙卑的姿態來面對他，並聲明"以一個菜鳥之姿來評論神是非常大膽妄為的"。

但為了訓練心臟以及不怕死的文章...這是必要考驗。

講藍調，就先微提一下藍調的歷史。

藍調發源自黑人，是在奴隸制度下衍生而出的產物，剛開始只有類似工作歌的樣子，最後發展成「鄉村藍調」「經典藍調」「城市(Urban)藍調」，

這樣一個雛形的分支其實就已經足夠大家聆聽很久很久了。

並以一種憂鬱、淺白卻具詩意的語句配合和弦來做一個即興的獨唱演出。

回到正題，小弟把光碟放進我的CD PLAYER，徐徐從電子線路透過喇叭傳出的音符，令我無法自拔!

第六首 The Pan Alley  滄桑的藍調音階透過SRV的手指，繪製出那慘淡的模糊影像，如果仔細聆聽歌詞，你會發現這一切是多麼殘酷。

長達九分鐘的一首歌，也是令我深刻的一首歌曲，前奏到主歌這段主要是醞釀情緒，也是用旋律說故事，一個黑暗角落的事件。

主歌段落開始陳述這起事件的過程，SRV雖然是吉他手，但唱功也是不俗的。

不是嘶啞，而是一種無奈，這世道就是這樣的一種口吻。

唱到了"I heard a pistol shoot..." 運用了連續並快速的槌勾弦，使整個情緒突然緊繃了起來，最後又放鬆下去。

接著回到平鋪直敘的處理方式，一路到了尾奏，大鼓三下"咚""咚""咚" 緊接著帶出最後的高潮。

簡單、俐落，SRV式的solo，想知道為什麼這樣說？
