Don’t listen to those who say,

別聽那些人的話，
“It’s not done that way.”

“這事不能那麼做。”
Maybe it’s not, but maybe you will

 也許是不能那麼做，可是也許你就會那麼做。

 別聽那些人的話，
“You’re taking too big a chance.”

“你這個險冒得太大了。”

米開朗琪羅可能在西斯廷教堂的地板上作過畫，
and it would surely be rubbed out by today.

 到今天肯定已經被抹掉了。
Most importantly, don’t listen

最重要的是，
When the little voice of fear inside of you

當你心中恐懼的聲音，
rear its ugly head and says,

擡起它醜陋的頭說，
“They’re all smarter than you out there.

“那邊那些人都比你聰明，
They’re more talented,

他們更有才華，
They’re taller, blonder, prettier, luckier and have connections...” 他們更高大、皮膚更白、更漂亮、更幸運，並且認識各種各樣的人…”  
I firmly believe that if you follow a path that interests you, 我堅信只要選擇一條你感興趣的路，
Not to the exclusion of love, sensitivity, and cooperation with others, 不排除愛情、敏銳以及與別人的合作，
But with the strength of conviction

而是堅定地認爲，
That you can move others by your own efforts,

通過你自身的努力能夠感動他人，
And do not make success or failure the criteria by which you live, 不把成功或者失敗作爲你生活的標準，
The chances are you’ll be a person worthy of your own respect. 那麼你就可能成爲值得自己敬佩的人！
