Effect of a Mangosteen Dietary Supplement on Human Immune Function:
A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial

The purpose of the first independent, randomized, double-blind placebo study evaluated how Vemma enhanced immune function and well-being in humans.* Participants were randomly divided into two groups and received 2 ounces of Vemma or placebo each morning for 30 days. After the 30-day evaluation, the study showed favorable results in immune markers and a lowering of C-reactive protein (CRP) while taking Vemma.*

Changes in IL-1α Concentration (Immunity Marker): The Vemma group improved their immune function in a statistically significant way.

C-reactive protein (CRP) is Reduced in Vemma Participants: Red shaded area indicates high risk range (<1mg/L) of CRP levels. White area is low risk range of CRP levels. The Vemma group was the only group to reduce their CRP levels from unhealthy to healthy levels.

Self Reported Health Status: 100% of the Vemma group reported that they felt improvement in their health, significantly more than the control group.

Bioavailability and Antioxidant Effects of a Xanthone-Rich Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) Product in Humans

This study was designed to determine the overall bioavailability (body readiness) and antioxidant effect of the Vemma formula in the body. This trial took place over a 24-hour period. Participants were separated into two groups, placebo and the Vemma formula. Before the products were consumed, each participant’s blood was measured. Then, participants either received a single dose of the Vemma formula or placebo. Blood samples were collected and evaluated. The data concluded that Vemma is highly bioavailable.*

Antioxidant (ORAC) Capacity After Vemma: The antioxidant amounts indicated show how Vemma is highly bioavailable and antioxidant rich compared to the placebo.

 

Based on two peer reviewed clinical studies, conducted by the independent Brunswick Laboratories, the Vemma formula has been clinically shown to:
