Hey guys, welcome to my blog! Today, I’m here to share my magic tailor who successfully transformed my somewhat nice wedding dress to the exactly perfect one!

As you see in my last article, “The Review of My Wedding Dress from 24prom,” there were some issue about this dress:
1) Neckline of this dress is obvious
2) The color is not right
3) Lace flouncing part is too long and droopy
Since the return policy is relatively strict, I had to figure out solutions on my own. I accepted the color, which solved the second problem. And I asked my wedding photographer to take care of the “neckline issue.” (I didn’t expect that the dry clean shop I went to helped to solve this problem, too! I’ll get to this later.) The only thing I could do before the wedding was fixing the flouncing part.

How magical was the magic tailor, Aunt Xǔ-Jìn? In brief, she is highly professional and quick!
First, I told her my dress was droopy and too long. I showed her the original picture of the dress on 24prom’s website, and then Aunt Xǔ-Jìn said,
“It is impossible to make it flouncing like that by only tailoring, because they put extra material around the edges. However, I can make it better.”
Within three needles’ work, Aunt Xǔ-Jìn brought the life back to the flouncing part.
Then, I asked her if she could relocate the chest pads because the chest pads were easy to see. She took a look and said, “No problem. I’ll replace the circle pads with small triangular ones. And your boobs can get better support, too!”
How long do you think it took to alter all these problems? As a professional tailor, she only took an hour and all done. Yes, not a week, not a day. AN HOUR! Before I went there, I heard that you could get your dress tailored right away, so I brought a book and expected to spend about two hours or more there. But no, all these communication and alterations process was happening within an hour. Amazing, right?
Even more, how much money do you think I spent on tailoring? You will not believe it… It ONLY COST NT$250. (Less than $10 USD!)
My friends, if you are in Taiwan and you are preparing your wedding. Lucky you! (Unless you don’t speak the language… Mandarin or Taiwanese…)
In Taiwan, finding an affordable and beautiful wedding dress is as easy as winking. If you happened to need a tailor for your dress, it is easy to find a good one, too! Just go to the magic tailor, Aunt Xǔ-Jìn!

After tailoring, I went to a dry cleaning shop, right across the tailor shop. It was recommended by Aunt Xǔ-Jìn, and this shop was extremely professional, too!
Located at the alleyway, Měi-Xīn Cleaners & Laundry is run by a friendly elder couple. Since the shop is pretty close to the so-called “famous bridal shops’ street, Sec. 2, Zhongshan N. Rd,” the couple are the experts of cleaning your wedding dress.
While walking into the store, those beautiful dresses hung on racks say itself.
They took good care of every design on the dress, had full knowledge about the fabric, and the price was reasonable!
I didn’t expect they could fix the “neckline issue,” however, when I got my dress after cleaning, the sheer of neckline was brightened. No damage on the fabric. It was magically brightened, and the fabric had been soften, too. The sheer of neckline was not an issue anymore! With just a little work from my photographer, my wedding photos turned out to be perfect!

I spent more than $300 USD on this dress (dress + shipping + tailor + clean), and now the selling price is $180.
Taking a big loss on this gorgeous dress… but, as I already had a beautiful memory with this dress, there is no reason I should keep it… (not a tradition in my culture)

今天衣布要跟大家分享隱身在小巷弄間的超強禮服改造團隊！
也就是傳說中的「許盡阿姨」以及「美欣洗衣店」～
話說我拿到這件在24prom買的禮服時，實在是有點失望。
顏色不是圖片上的水藍色、領子的紗網太明顯、裙子一點也不飄飄啊～～～
由於在米國修改衣服太貴啦，只好等回臺灣再請專家修改。
這個決定果然正確！在「許盡阿姨」以及「美欣洗衣店」的改造下，
這件婚紗在我的婚禮上超水準登場喔！

因為不想毀了撒大筆銀子而買的禮服，在網路上做了功課後，發現大家狂推許盡阿姨，一回臺灣就預約！
從捷運民權西路9號出口出站後，沿天祥路轉撫順街，就可以找到許盡阿姨的工作室
這應該也是許盡阿姨的家，我來的時候他們才剛用過早餐～
穿上禮服，簡單和阿姨說明我想修改的部分後，阿姨迅速在裙襬固定幾針
她告訴我，24prom網站上的禮服一定有加工過！
以禮服目前的狀況，擺幅絕對不可能像圖片一樣
但她可以幫我把擺幅改活潑一點，纔不會覺得整件衣服很重～
我換下禮服後，阿姨迅速的投入她的工作
客廳就是阿姨工作的空間，安靜的空間裡，阿姨專注地修改著禮服。
不到幾分鐘時間，就完成了初步的修改！
再次穿上衣服就明顯感覺不同！
兩邊的裙擺被提高、也修改了長度，變得俏皮許多。這樣我已經很滿意了！
但因為拍婚紗時一直遇到胸墊露出來的問題，我問阿姨能不能換一下胸店的位置。阿姨說她有更好的解決方式：換成三角形的胸墊，這樣也更能襯託身材～阿姨於是在我身上又比畫了幾下。
又是不到幾分鐘的時間，衣服就改好了！
而這一切不過發生在一小時之間！也不過花了我新臺幣250元啊啊啊～～
回想菠菜在美國修改襯衫的經驗，他也花了250．．．250美金啊！而且等了一個多禮拜纔拿到衣服！！！
是不是應該給臺灣辛苦工作的勞動朋友們拍拍手！
接著，我想禮服登場前應該清理一下。阿姨於是推薦我到對面的「美欣洗衣店」
美欣洗衣店一對可愛的夫妻檔經營，一進店面就可看到一件件洗好的禮服
可見他們多有經驗多專業！完全不用擔心禮服被洗壞的問題！
如果有任何疑慮，他們也會事先提醒你喔！
我之前對禮服的紗網一直很不滿意，但也沒想過洗衣店洗過後居然有煥然一新的感覺
完全佩服美欣夫妻檔的專業！！！
特地從新店跑到民權西路果然沒有白費工夫啊啊啊～
(由於實在太驚嘆請容許我一直瘋狂尖叫)
