Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom Poster. BREATH. TOOO MUUUCCCHHHH

For most of the people, when mentioned about movies that have dinosaurs, they will think of the Jurassic series. Like the Star Worlds movie series have their symbolic status in the space fiction films, Jurassic series has become the icon of the dinosaur. However, when Star Worlds has become the belief of most of its fans, Jurassic movie series is still a "dinosaur movie" in its fans heart.

Recall the reboot of the Jurassic series in 2015 to this year’s sequel, dinosaurs have become more life-like and vivid, the scene has become even more spectacular, and the thrillers are equally good compared to its predecessors. However, people are less likely to impress by the dinosaur. Is it because of the overflow of the visual effect of recent films? Or is it that people are overwhelmed by the monster film these days? I think maybe the sensational scenes are no longer an advantage to a movie. Since every movie these days can easily using CGI to create a dazzling scene, I think that's why the director used more emotional factors and the portrayal of the characters in this film. For instance, we can see the perception of the lead actress has grown more mature when she is starting to conserve the dinosaur. We can also see the lead actor making afford to protect the dinosaur. However, I think the narrative of the process is too superficial. We can only know the outcome but not the overall process. Moreover, although the story leads to a discussable issue, the storyline is not memorable, thus the movie will be easily forgotten and become a mediocre "dinosaur movie ".

But it is a good start for the sequel. The future of the series seems prospective. Especially the post-credit scene has reminded us that Jurassic World is truly moving forward to the "World". How to portray the scene and the character more exquisitely are going to be a more complex work to do for the director and the screenwriters when the series is going to be in the bigger picture. To remain the touching and the lively spirit 25 years after the first Jurassic Park film release and not to become cliché, the filming crew still have a long way to go.
