首先,要自我检讨一下,说好的LEED AP顾问贴姗姗来迟。其实我的2018年,充实而又激荡,从年初开始,在温哥华安顿下来,有了新工作,订了婚,买了房,结了婚,两个月前又换了车,生命这只大手,在这一年把我向前推了几大步。原本定在6月份的LEED AP考试也因此推迟到了7月下半旬,之后工作也进入一小段升华期,调整自己的几个新身份,练习新的生活方式,现在我也准备好重新回到个人知识修炼的节奏中了。
按照国际惯例,依旧要先致谢,
1. 我曾经的好友,分享给我了一套LEED AP BD+C的套题。我最敬佩她的一点是对于掌握新知识的速度和立下flag之后的执行力,从她的经历我也想告诉大家,即使一次没有考过,也不要被自己沮丧或者失望的小情绪所迷惑,根据人的记忆曲线,考完试后你对LEED AP的考点、概念、数字是最鲜活的,LEED考完试后24小时之内就可以收到考试结果,所以如果没有得到满意的成绩,我的建议只有一个:抓紧时间订下下一场考试,然后不要停顿,继续复习。记住,不是重新复习,而是继续复习。之所以强调继续,是因为经历过了初次考试,在考试过程中就一定可以认识到USGBC的考察点和自己复习点的出入,在此基础上对自己过去的复习总结、查缺补漏,事半功倍,而不是从Exam Guide的第一页开始看。这不就是继续的意思吗?你是你自己的巨人,你可以把自己抬高,看到远方的胜利的。
2. 我现在的公司,Division 15 Mechanical Ltd。公司的制度和文化激励了我挑战自己的能力,在行动上,公司帮我买了两本参考书籍USGBC官方的LEED Reference Guide for Building Design and Construction(简称LEED v4)和ATP (American Technical Publisher)出版的LEED AP BD+C Exam Preparation Guide(简称LEED v4 Guide)。LEED v4是设计规范,是参与LEED建筑项目的业主、顾问、设计师等核心团队的重要参考资料,但是对于通过考试,过于繁重,需要大量时间阅读、总结和记忆。LEED v4 Guide是考试专用书,针对每个category已经进行了总结,包括重点概念、易混淆的知识点的比较,和一小部分练习题。通过考试后,我不仅得到了现金奖励,而且还登上了公司季刊首页,著实让我美了一下,作为一个在施工单位工作的华人女性,确实能够鼓励我继续努力。
3. 我的老公。考试那段时间龙哥妥妥地支持,陪我不看电视,不管多晚都等我看完书一起去睡,考试当天更是贴身保姆+司机,度过了短短续续将近2个月的睡不醒生活。在此,远程表白龙哥,爱你哟??。
------朴素的复习日程表分割线------
这是我按照第一次预定的考试时间,当时的复习节奏,不是很全,但是绝对真实。第二次考试前三周在复习状态。
我的复习习惯是根据Prep Guide的章节先手抄自己认为重要的内容,边抄边记,然后去做题,根据错误去补充、修改自己的笔记。这样子所有章节都做完后,相当于我对整个LEED AP BD+C已经从不同的角度去了解了三次。最后就是去做套题,有多少做多少,360度去击毙知识死角,因为考试全部都是选择题,所以最终练习到一看到问题就可以知道这道题的考察点和出题意图就算熟练了。由于LEED考试机构的版权保护,市面上有的题确实不多,而且有些题不是真题,题目本身就有歧义,所以建议做题的时候保持批判性思维,不要把答案的ABCD当作原理,就算是有1%的不确定,也要回到LEED v4中确认。这就是我自己选择记笔记的原因——根据我有限的工作经验,来补充欠缺的知识。

我知道现在国内也可以选择中文考试,对于中文考试,我确实没有什么发言权,祝小伙伴们考试成功。

考试当天
1. 早点确认好时间;
2. 带好证件;
3. 带上快被翻烂了、可能封面早就不知道哪去了、但是干货满满、为你自己量身打造、别人谁都看不懂的复习笔记
4. 少吃甜食,少吃碳水化合物高的食物、如果喝了咖啡或者红牛,进入考试机房前至少去一次卫生间
可能你还没有完成自己制定的复习计划,可能你已经复习到怀疑人生,可能你顶著「别人看我像傻逼」的压力,可能亲朋好友指责花几千块去为了个破考试,无论如何,这里有掌声送给每一个投入考试的小伙伴,当你在权衡和决定如何投资自己的时间、精力和金钱时,你就已经和剩下的人不同了,所以成功了50%的你请自信满满地去参加考试吧。
笔记,这时候全程陪跑的独家笔记要再次派上用场了,这里面不仅有条理清晰的知识点,还有条理不清晰的混淆点,考试前再最后看一遍,看著熟悉的东西可以稳定情绪,可以带领笔记的主人快速进入LEED AP BD+C的专业状态,可以再次加强印象,强调了那么久笔记的用处,你开始自己的笔记了吗?
食物,之所以这里提到食物,一个原因是这一年来我执行低碳饮食,体重重新回到并且保持在大学毕业体重已经超过半年,而且每天早上量体重时发现比过去稳定多了;更重要的原因是碳水化合物会升高血糖,代谢血糖时会犯困!目前我去过的温哥华和上海考试中心都是一个机房,里面每个人守著一台电脑,网上答题,很安静,我不知道你们,我两次考试坐著坐著就开始犯困,特别是前一夜还熬夜复习,所以这时候对放进嘴里的东西上点心,换来一个开心结局是值得的。
题型,GA和AP一起考的我没有经历,不确定会怎么样。分开考的流程一样,2个小时100道题选择题,200分,170分通过。选择题包括单选和多选,多选题会有标注。我收到的考试没有计算题,没有使用过计算器。可以上厕所,但是考试的计时不会因此暂停。
准备考试的过程中,knowledge domains或者说credit categories的名字,intent和requirement要记住。还有每一个credit categories的得分方式、分数,哪个credit category 有exemplary performance等等,能够记住这些,在判断选项对错时很有帮助。我遇到过把一个category的exemplary performance说成另外一个category,然后出现在答案选项中混淆概念。

就像之前说的,我相信建筑业能为这个社会做的还有更多。从我的经历来看,LEED设计标准的落地、执行和普及也还有挑战。
LEED的标准说白了,不便宜。举个身边的例子,在我招标时,一个满足LEED标准的1.9LPF的马桶的价格是普通马桶的2陪。或者从工程经济学的角度来说,虽然LEED v4中介绍LEED设计标准可以帮助业主降低维护成本,然而,前期的高设计费用,施工时额外的维护措施费用,和满足LEED标准的设备成本都在提高项目的前期投入,这样隐形当中拉高了业主的融资成本。无一例外,我看到的参评LEED项目的业主在设计施工阶段同时要求执行价值工程或者选择Design-Build合同。
LEED的应用更多是在设计环节,然而对于LEED标准的执行也需要后续参与单位的参加。我的一个中学项目是LEED Gold设计要求,让我很意外,项目总包单位对于这个标准并不了解,所以到了项目的设计收尾阶段依旧不知道需要从准备什么文件去提交申请,也不知道需要分包单位提交什么材料、设备信息,这对于业主和后来的老师学生无疑都是一种不负责和损失。
比较好的现象就是已经有一些城市先行一步,将LEED设计标准加入到了项目开工要求之内,就比如说身边的温哥华市和列治文市,政府网站明文规定公共建筑必须满足LEED设计标准。这就强制要求投资方将一栋建筑的可持续性列入到考虑之内,也激励了更多的建筑从业人员去了解建筑、环境和人的关系,让一栋建筑在多重考量下,慎重地诞生。
