倫敦國王學院35歲博士生閆思宏已死亡，另一網傳失聯中國女生查無此人，你怎麼看？

我是倫敦大學國王學院中國學聯宣傳部負責人，首先對閆同學的遇難表示哀悼。

目前我校同學們已提議捐款和集體哀悼，隨後我們將配合相關方面做好接待遇難同學父母的工作。

目前主要談一談另一名失蹤者榮同學的求救信息。

事件梳理

二月25日中午，本人在接獲目前已確認離世的我校閆姓同學失蹤報告之前，收到了我校（KCL）一名同學轉發的一條身份不明的求助信息並在微信朋友圈進行了轉發。

隨後國王學聯在26日下午向其父母確認了榮同學失蹤並重複同其母親確認前一條求助信息信息源之後，將之和榮同學的尋人信息合為一條進行二次發布。

隨後信息得到來自各方的轉發和核實，獲取到了來自閆姓學生的同學及友人的信息，確認校方及警方已著手調查，不需要同學進一步向警方報告案情。同時收到其朋友關於第一條信息中的賬號信息的質疑。

學聯君其後向閆同學父親複核，確認第一條信息不發自閆同學，隨後學聯君開始對該信息源展開調查，並聯繫了帝國理工學聯進行信息調查。

微信調查

得知此微信號證實了此人的微信並不是閆女士本人的微信。於是熱心的同學又通過搜索微信共同的羣這一功能找到了微信id為babysiutung的人在某羣裏的備註（見下圖）：

因為無法確認此人的身份，所以此事被報告給大使館，希望有更多知道相關消息的人能站出來提供相關線索。

就在2月28日，帝國學聯已通過官方微信公眾號發布文章說明帝國理工材料系查無此人（未能證實Babysiutung為帝國理工材料系學生）：

此外，KCL國王學聯也根據Babysiutung的微信位置聯繫了上海外事辦，也未能成功找到此人的相關信息。

而當初與Babysiutung一個微信羣的同學也提供了一下信息：

由於此微信號於2月28日中午通過了一個好友申請，基本可以得知，其手機仍有人使用。

倫敦時間今日（三月一日）早九點，

學聯君收到疑似求助者友人的信息，學聯對此消息十分重視，

並將信息移交使館方面。

其他同學也針對該賬號的活動進行了檢索和調查

隨後A同學和學聯也跟進調查，

確認同名豆瓣賬號直至事發後的26號還在使用

後來一名同學成功添加了發出求救信息的微信賬號。

最後確認其提供的地址是在廣州。

希望此文能提供一定的信息給大家做出判斷。

目前學聯已就此事向國內警方報案，警方已立案，並將採取包括網路偵察在內的技術手段進行調查。

如果Babysiutung發布的求救信息為真，那麼希望認識他的同學提供相關線索，使其儘快獲救。

若Babysiutung是造謠，那麼希望Ta自己及時出來闢謠，以告慰自消息傳出之後為其擔心的各方人士。

逝者安息，活著的人不要亂猜疑，不要再在受害者家屬傷口撒鹽，一切應以英國警方公佈的真相為準。

閆思宏是中國瀋陽人，2016年到英國留學，事發前正在倫敦國王學院攻讀博士學位。她身高158釐米，長發，本人精通中法俄英四種語言。

閆思宏從2018年2月17開始與家中失去聯繫，具閆思宏的父母描述，2月15日（大年三十）晚上和女兒通過一次視頻電話，2月16日（初一）女兒與同學進行過微信語音通話，從2月17日到今天為止沒能再跟女兒取得聯繫。

事件一報道時，網上很多網友給予的不是同情，而是亂猜疑，比如說她是「社會工作者」，這是極其不道德的。一個精通中俄英法語言的博士，像有些人想的那樣嗎？

也有網友說，為什麼近年來去國外留學的女生被害事件多了起來，建議女生不要出國留學。其實，這完全是因為現代媒體的發達，消息傳播快，傳播廣的原因。事件一發生，各種媒體鋪天蓋地的報道，而人們接觸媒體的機會比以前多了許多。以前也有類似事件，只是沒有報道而已。

願這世界少些傷害。

中國人是最溫和的民族，同樣也是最富有愛心的民族。我們的孩子在自己的一片天地一般不會出大問題的。可是知識是一個圓圈，如果總是在這個圓圈裡，就是落後。這樣就有一些人冒險去別的國家求學，也有學成歸來把好的知識融入我們的知識體系，為民族進步做貢獻。

文中的女士，就是遇到風險的學子之一，每個民族都有好人，也有壞人。還有一些極度排外的人士，我們眼中的壞人，但是本國有很大的支持人羣。

學子成長的過程，會遇到各種風險。但是人生不應該受到任何外力去幹擾，取決於他自己的內心。這個很難做到，但是你幹擾多少，他人生的遺憾就會有多少。

現在海外留學生的安全問題引起了人們的關注，中國博士生閆思宏在英國失聯事件在網上炒的沸沸揚揚，讓人感覺好像在海外留學，人在異鄉危機四伏。其實英國的治安環境還是不錯的，我有幾個朋友的孩子都在英國讀書，除了反映氣候和飲食有點不太適應以外，其他的諸如環境、安全、教育都認為還是不錯的。據說英國是世界上攝像頭安裝最多的國家，360度無死角。

其實此類的治安事件哪裡也有，就在前段時間，中國也有個女孩失聯，最後發現是因為打黑車，被黑車司機見色起意，謀財害命了。閆博士的失聯也就是個意外，是個孤立的事件，不能過度解讀。不過因為閆思宏是個博士，還是一位漂亮的女士，所以引發了多方關注。

還是中國那句話：自己的籬笆扎牢了，外面的野獸就進不來，無論在中國還是在外國，都應該保持應有的警惕，尤其是女孩子，不要打黑車，不要在陌生環境和陌生的異性糾纏，當然家長也要提高警惕，多給孩子進行一些安全教育，只要自己的安全意識提高了，閆博士的悲劇才會避免發生。

In light of the recent death of a Mainland Chinese female student and the disappearance of a second, we would like to take this opportunity to address personal safety measures that should be adopted by all overseas students.

鑒於近日一名中國內地女學生去世及另有一人失蹤, 我們希望藉此機會處理所有海外學生應採取的人身安全措施。

The need to evaluate your own safety can be a difficult task and here are some pointers that will help

評估自己的安全需要是一項艱巨的任務, 這裡有一些有助於自身評估的要點

Personal

Criminals do not like to be seen.

罪犯不喜歡被看見

Stay alert and just try to look around you. Make it a habit of looking back behind you every now and then to see if there is anyone that you should be worried about. Take note of person(s) who cover up their face and head. Criminals do not like to be noticed nor identified subsequently. They will react to your attention by bowing down their heads and departing from your line of sight. You should be alerted if you find anyone fitting these criteria walking behind you.

保持警惕，試著環顧四周。讓它成為一個習慣, 回頭, 然後看看有沒有你應該擔心的人。注意那些遮住臉和頭的人。罪犯不喜歡被注意, 也不希望容易被人識別。他們會對你的注意作出反應,低頭並離開你的視線。如果你發現有人在你身後走動, 你應該保持警惕。

Try your best to move around in a group. This should be a MUST until you get to know the area and has come to the conclusion that it is safe. Even if this is the case, it is best to travel with at least one friend. Your decision on an area being safe should include different times of the day. An area can be safe during the day as a result of heavy pedestrian traffic but at night, the place can be deserted or have poor street lighting. Shops that are opened during the day are now closed. The type of premises in the area should also have a bearing. Residential area might offer a false sense of safety but the increase number of entrance/exits to houses/buildings offers a good hide out to criminals in waiting. Restaurants and pubs are better in that there will always be a crowd that will help on your shout for help. Areas with a lot of side alleys should raise your alertness as these again offers ideal hiding places.

Dress down at all times. Do not flash expensive jewellery and accessories. Mobile phones are a great attraction for criminals nowadays due to their cost new and a high demand in the second-hand market. Keep your phone in your pocket when moving around in an unfamiliar or crowded area. Criminals are smart, they target worthwhile targets as this reduces the need to reoffend meaning that if they can get a high reward by targeting you, they will not need to target another person for a day or two.

在任何時候都要穿衣服。不要佩戴閃光昂貴的首飾和配件。智能手機對犯罪分子來說是一個很大的吸引力, 因為它們在二手市場上的需求很高。在不熟悉或擁擠的地方走動時, 把手機放在口袋裡。罪犯是聰明的, 他們的目標是有價值的目標, 因為如果他們針對你得手, 他們將不需要花更多的時間針對其他人。

Your physique cannot be changed but you can reduce your chances by walking with a group and staying alert. Your body language can make a great difference on whether you will become a target. Walk with your head up, chest out and take large strides. Don』t check messages on your phone as your alertness will be greatly reduced. Let friends know in advance of your itinerary all the time especially when travelling. Nowadays, most mobile phones have panic buttons where calls can be placed without others noticing this. Find this out now with your phone. Report in with a friend as frequently as possible on your location and well being when travelling or going out at night.

你的身體素質或許短時間內不能得到提升，但你可以通過步行和保持警覺來降低你遭遇不行的概率。你的肢體語言會對你是否成為一個目標產生很大的影響。挺胸抬頭，大步流星。走路的時候不要看手機, 因為這樣你的警覺性會大大降低。讓朋友提前知道你的行程, 特別是在旅行的時候。如今, 大多數手機都有緊急按鈕, 可以在沒有別人注意到的情況下撥打電話。現在用你的手機來確認一下。在你的位置上儘可能頻繁地和朋友報告, 或者在晚上旅行或外出的時候。

The best defence is to avoid being targeted by taking the steps outlined above. In the unfortunate event that you have been targeted, try these :-

Look at the person following you by stopping in your tracks suddenly

Take out your phone and call a friend telling them exactly where you are

Take out your phone and pretend that the person on the other end of the phone will be picking you up there or has arrived in the vicinity to meet you

Approach the first person that you feel safe to approach and start a conversation by asking them to help

Move into a shop if there is one

Head for brightly lit areas or a crowd

DO NOT TRY TO STRUGGLE IF THE CRIMINAL IS ARMED IN ANY FORM

Pass him all your property and avoid looking him in the face but try to take note of his clothing, shoes, socks by looking down. Take note also on the smell of the person. He could be wearing perfume or he could smell of alcohol or he could smell bad as he has been sleeping on the streets.

You should always keep serial number of any expensive electronic devices like your phone and computer. Avoid leaving them lying around unattended in the public. Decorate them in a unique way to deter these being sold to a second-hand buyer. Lock things up as far as possible.

Cash is no longer a necessity in most places. Credit cards should be used in place of cash. Avoid leaving your credit card lying around even at home. A photo of your credit card front and back is all it is required for someone to misuse it later on internet purchases and you will still be in possession of the card without knowing that it is being illegally used.

Never pass any of your personal details to anyone over the internet or phone without confirming the identity of the internet site or the identity of the person talking to you. Telephone scams is very common all over the world. The main reason for such scams to have been successful for so long is that it plays either on your greed (you are the lucky winner or an investment scheme that have a ten fold return) or guilty (you bought something illegal on the internet or you have recently received a parcel containing illegal substance or you have recently made an illegal transfer of money) Email scams are more common with business enterprises but you should also take note that the scam works on sending you emails with a email address that you are familiar with but if you look closer, there will be slight differences with the actual email address, a change of cases, a different spelling or a different domain name.

There will never be a prefect anti burglary system available but there are things that you can do to reduce the chances of your property/dorm being targeted. Keep expensive items stored away at all times. Draw curtains and blinds wherever you can to reduce the chances of burglars being attracted to the contents of your lodging. Leave lights on in hours of darkness when you are absence. Lock doors and windows properly. Do not give anyone duplicate keys to your property. Do not hide your keys near the entrance for convenience. Take out your keys well in advance before arriving at your front door to reduce the time spent outside and move swiftly inside once the door is opened. This is the most vulnerable time for you as this is the easiest way for anyone to enter your premises. Check the surrounding area on your approach to your front door. If you sense anything threatening, turn around and walk away. Once inside, the chances of anyone noticing that you are in trouble will be greatly reduced. Keep a strong flash light/torch inside your premises by your bedside. Turn on all lights if you notice anything threatening whilst you are inside. Keep your mobile phone by your bedside. Double lock doors if possible. Check windows and doors are properly locked before going to bed.

The added problem with sexual assaults cannot be ignored. Again, dressing appropriately for the occasion and location should always be on the top of your agenda. Avoid intoxication as this reduces your ability to defend yourself and makes you an easier target. Only drink with good friends or in the company of good friends. They will be more likely to take care of you when you are under the influence of alcohol. Do not leave your drink unattended at any time. Don』t drink it after a period of absence as your drink could be laced. Do not drink anything that is from an open can, bottle or any other unsealed container. Do not try to be friendly with strangers as this might pass on the wrong message. Avoid staying until the bar/pub closes as many customers will more than likely be drunk. Arrange transport before leaving a pub/bar to reduce the chance of someone following you out from the pub. Do not tell anyone where you live or any personal details until you are confident about the person.

Most kidnap victims are targeted on knowledge of their wealth or their family』s wealth. The simple and most effective way of preventing kidnaping is to act and behave low key. Avoid bragging about your own wealth or that of your family』s.
