皇家海军著名的部族级驱逐舰爱司基摩号HMS Eskimo，最为人印象深刻的就是参与1940年挪威战役时期的第二次那维克海战，是役英国海军由战舰战恨号HMS Warspite率领四艘部族级驱逐舰以及另外五艘驱逐舰进攻挪威奥福特峡湾(Ofotfjord)的德国登陆部队，英国海军消灭了当地残存的八艘德国驱逐舰，本身仅有三艘驱逐舰受创，包含追击敌舰时遭到伏击而整个舰首被炸毁的Eskimo。

在维修完毕后，爱司基摩又陆续参与了地中海及大西洋战役，最后成为16艘英国部族级中幸存的四艘之一。

模型使用的是喇叭牌新推出的套件，模型本身就相当优秀，不需要作太大修改，唯一的缺点就是英国独特的四连装12.7mm机枪刻的太过简略，因此改用鹰翔的蚀刻片。另外主桅杆上的type 286水面预警雷达只用栏杆PE蒙混，因为实在看不懂TOM牌的蚀刻片要怎么折....  orz

This is my Trumpeter HMS Eskimo built out of box with some PE detail. It's a nice kit with good detail.

The major dispointing is its 12.7mm quad-mechining gun that looks like toy. I used Flying Hawk parts to upgrade the meching gun, which is better looking than Lion-roar ones.

The type 286 radar on the mast is "disguised" by rail part until I understand how to band the TOM model's PE part.

与英国较早期的E级驱逐舰相比，自部族级开始采用的飞剪式舰首与流线型舰桥让本级的外型更显英俊。
