有沒有很熟悉的感覺呢？沒錯......這就是WINDOWS 95 時代收錄的影片DEMO，現在看到的影片當然不是原始的MV，不過音樂是原唱的

95時代我就很喜歡這首歌了，最近突然在聽一些西洋老歌就回憶起這一首很好聽得歌曲，在網路上找了一陣子終於找到，在這邊分享給大家聽聽。

Edie Brickell
　　1988年，當Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians樂團中的主唱Edie Brickell/伊迪布凱爾用她那撫慰人心的悠然歌聲唱出：「I’m not aware of too many things / I know what I know if you know what I mean / Philosophy is the talk on a cereal box / Religion is the smile on a dog…」"What I Am"時，有人將她的歌聲比做都會女子在戀愛時愛恨嗔癡的低喃私語；當首發專輯『Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars』問世後，輯中清新恬淡中愈發雋永的耐聽程度讓專輯一舉占上Billboard專輯榜Top4，AMG音樂網站和滾石雜誌分別給予4星半、3星評鑒。"What I Am"一曲榮獲全美單曲榜Top10，更絕的是本歌在’99年時艾迪墨菲配音製作美國福斯網最受爭議之熱門影集「艾迪墨菲PJ秀」原聲帶配樂中，饒舌新秀Sy Smith曾將"What I Am"嘻哈大變身；寶貝辣妹-艾瑪個人單飛之作也曾將"What I Am"一曲重新詮釋，足見英美大牌對這首歌曲的鍾情程度！

　　身為一個民謠搖滾熱門樂團，Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians樂團’90年發表的創作『Ghost of a Dog』在排行成績上雖不甚耀眼，但滾石雜誌和AMG音樂網站樂評卻雙雙舉四星肯定！’94年『Picture Perfect Morning』中，一曲"Good Times"家喻戶曉；之後，這個民謠樂團漸漸淡出，Edie Brickell也因嫁給「賽門與葛芬柯」之保羅賽門，整個90年代就沉浸在家庭世界的美好，音樂生涯暫時停擺；休息近10個年頭，Edie Brickell先於2000年和葛萊美獎得主Shawn Colvin/夏恩柯文合作"Roger Wilco"暖身，2003年祭出由與民謠巨擘Bob Dylan熟稔多年的Charlie Sexton操刀製作的【Volcano/火山】，首發同名單曲即是支聽了讓人耳目一新之作，簡單的編制、好久不見卻依舊溫煦的Edie嗓音，一種彷佛與十年不見好友重逢的喜悅，都在這裏。
