現代英語的句子一般不會很長，維多利亞時期的英語更喜歡用長句，一句話50+單詞不少見，有時候甚至達到200來個單詞。比如讀讀約翰密爾的《on liberty》，約翰洛克的《a second treatise on government》，休謨的《on human nature》等，你會發現長句是非常普遍的。

把非謂語，從句，固定搭配什麼的都用上去
從句再長也是要符合基本的語法結構的，
與其關注這種花裏胡哨的東西，
不如多背背單詞學學語法。
