賓大一直被認為是轉學申請里相對友好的名校，The transfer acceptance rate for 2016-2017 was 9.3% as 229 of 2454 applicants were admitted. 本科開放轉學的學院有：

-The College of Arts and Sciences

-Penn Engineering

-The School of Nursing

-The Wharton School

也就是說，你的申請專業必須在這四個學院內，關於專業還有一些比較細微的約束，比如轉學生不能申請dual-degree等等。四個學院有不同的招生眼光以及前置要求。接下來Me留學就帶著大家過一次轉學去賓大的要求以及列舉怎樣的申請者可以成功申請到賓大的轉學位。

這四個學院共同的Checklist為：

  • Common Application或者Coalition Application 網申
  • 大學官方成績單&大學College Report
  • 高中官方成績單以及畢業證明
  • 2封推薦信
  • 當前學期的期中評估表Mid-Term Report
  • SAT or ACT (required)
  • Fine Arts 專業需要作品集，其餘專業不需要
  • 財產證明文件
  • 申請費75美金

申請截止是3月15日，也就是只開秋申請。

賓大文理學院涵蓋50個專業，每學期學生要上4-5門課。渴望攻讀自然科學相關專業的學生，需要完成微積分等相關calculus的課程。攻讀建築專業的學生是必須要提交作品集的。

賓大工程學院要求轉學時，必須確定目標專業，而不是後期再declare your major，必須完成的課程清單有（大一讀完就轉學）

  • One course in chemistry
  • One course in physics (involving the use of calculus)
  • One course in computer programming
  • Two courses in calculus
  • If possible, two courses in the social sciences and humanities
  • You should complete a second course in physics if you』d like to major in bioengineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering and applied mechanics, materials science and engineering, systems science engineering, electrical engineering, or networked and social systems engineering.

（大二讀完轉學）

  • A total of four courses in math (calculus through differential equations)
  • Two courses in physics (involving the use of calculus)
  • One course in chemistry
  • One course in computer programming
  • Three or four courses in the social sciences and humanities
  • As many engineering and applied science courses as possible (e.g., in mechanics, electrical circuits, materials, or thermodynamics)

If you plan to major in computer science, computer engineering, digital media design, or networked and social systems engineering, you must take a second computer programming course.

賓大護理學院要求學生至少修完8個學分，並完成以下課程：

  • Introduction to Chemistry with Lab
  • Introduction to Biology with Lab
  • Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology 1 with Lab or Human Anatomy with Lab

The following courses are recommended:

  • Introduction to Microbiology with Lab
  • Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology II with Lab or Human Anatomy with Lab
  • Introduction to Nutrition
  • Introduction to Statistics

賓大最難、也是最頂尖的商學院Wharton School非常喜歡大一結束就轉學來賓大的學生，而且選擇學生非常挑剔，看中標華、GPA，也非常看中leadership在課外活動以及文書中的體現。賓大商學院的轉學前置課程有：

  • One semester of calculus (MATH 104), which can be fulfilled by:
    • A score of 「5」 on the AP Calculus BC exam (no credit is awarded for the AB exam),
    • A score of 「7」 on the IB Higher Level Mathematics with Further Mathematics exam,
    • A course deemed to be equivalent to MATH 104.

  • One semester of introductory microeconomics, which can be fulfilled by:
    • A score of 「5」 on the AP Microeconomics exam,
    • A score of 「6」 or 「7」 on the IB Higher Level Economics exam,
    • A course deemed to be equivalent toregistrar.upenn.edu/rosECON 001.

  • One semester of introductory macroeconomics, which can be fulfilled by:
    • A score of 「5」 on the AP Macroeconomics exam,
    • A score of 「6」 or 「7」 on the IB Higher Level Economics exam,
    • A course deemed to be equivalent to ECON 002.

Or, in lieu of separate introductory courses in micro and macroeconomics:

  • One semester of a combined introductory micro and macroeconomics course (ECON 010), which can be fulfilled by a course deemed to be equivalent to ECON 010.

In addition to the above, if you wish to enter after two years of college, you must have completed:

  • A one-semester financial accounting course deemed to be equivalent to ACCT 101.
  • A one-semester managerial accounting course deemed to be equivalent to ACCT 102.
  • Two semesters of statistics, which can be fulfilled by courses deemed to be equivalent to STAT 101 and 102. (Note that statistics without a calculus prerequisite will not transfer to Penn, a score of "5" on the AP Statistics exam will only fulfill the STAT 101 requirement.)
  • One semester of intermediate microeconomics which can be fulfilled by a course deemed to be equivalent to ECON 101 or a course deemed to be equivalent to BEPP 250.

We recommend that you satisfy Whartons foreign language requirement by the time you enroll at Penn. The requirement is equivalent to two semesters of college-level language courses and can be fulfilled by either completion of coursework or appropriate placement scores.

案例1：Accepted to the School of Engineering and Applied Science as a rising sophomore for chemical and biomolecular engineering.

College: Honors program at a top 20 public school

Current major: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

High School GPA weighted and unweighted: 5.02, 4.0

College GPA: 4.0

ACT: 34 (super score 35: R36 M35 S35 E35)

SAT subject tests: CHEM 800, MATH II 800

AP Classes: 10 classes (nine 5s and one 4)

Outside class: Religious organization and chemical engineering related clubs.

案例2：Accepted to the School of Arts and Sciences for Psychology Major

High School GPA: 3.9/4.0

College GPA: 3.6

ACT: 33

SAT: 1360

SAT subject tests: Lit 670, Chem 640 (lol)

Outside class: Cultural clubs, work-study jobs
