愛丁堡比想像中還冷，第一天剛到愛丁堡的晚上，已經拉上了外套淋著雨走在王子街上還是會發抖，這時候就了解到mulled wine為什麼那麼好賺了:P來一杯熱紅酒馬上變溫暖，若是額外加了shot那效果更佳，但一定要在老闆倒進去錢問好價格!(不然小小一杯要價八鎊也是有可能的)

 

這幾天的基本穿搭

發熱衣+爸爸的絨襯衫+毛衣+superdry外套

牛仔褲(牛仔褲完全不保暖，小旅伴有在primark買的內刷毛厚褲襪，可以單穿也可以加在長褲裡，好聰明，後來boxing day有購入:)

*配件: 毛帽(有兩層不透風的最好，因為就算有帽子，在愛丁堡還是吹風吹到頭痛)、圍巾(寬幅可以包的不透風為佳)、襪子(這次準備了含羊毛的襪子，套在普通襪子外)、手套(要能露出手指也能蓋上的，拍照會方便很多)、鞋子則選擇好走淋濕也不心疼的。

好幸運在出太陽的DAY2去城堡看日出以及美麗的Calton Hill。日出的時間大概在七點到八點，因此早起不算太辛苦，從我們住的House走路到城堡也大約只要20分鐘。

Jennifer’s gorgeous red hat and coat matched the colour of this city (and the castle of course) so well. She’s the PhD student of uni of Manchester in music and also one of flatmates of Albert’s. I learned a lot from her. She’s confident but humble. She told me the silhouette of the world in her words but didn’t prevent me from embracing it by my way. :”)

 

 

 

 

 

從城堡一路延伸的 Royal mile 就是愛丁堡美麗的舊城區了，一路上石子鋪的道路和兩旁的建築讓人放慢腳步，每個方向都有迷人風景。

 

 

 

 

 

Here comes the Edinburgh farmers market an unexpected attraction (not literally ”attraction” maybe but attractive:P for sure). It opens every Saturday from nine to two.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Unlike those common commercialization in Christmas market, we saw the majority of local people buying vegetables of the day and chatting with peddlers. It was so enjoyable to stroll around then trying and comparing special local foods (Scottish egg for example) in such a sunny day. The amount of food they gave for tasting flavour was also much bigger than those in Taiwan. 

 

 

 

 

After trying some bread with different kinds of vinegar, we bought this pork burger with apple sauce and SUPER DELICIOUS cheese cakes. (which were brunch actually)

Museum of Childhood 是前往Calton Hill 的路上經過的，要不是子琳要大家停下來就不會發現這麼特別的地方了，好多層樓館藏豐富，裡頭的娃娃除了可愛的有的帶點邪氣，有幾間Melody不想進去直喊太creepy!

I do love the time I could hold camera and took pictures without thinking too much from the bottom of my heart. You know what, the pictures always show up the mood, the imagination and wonderland through one’s eyes at that moment of a quiet click of the shutter . We observe the world carefully through little viewfinder then sometimes turn it into another big magic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

經過了原本被我們誤會的紀念碑，終於來到Calton Hill山腳下。

 

 

 

 

 

 

上圖的小建築可以付費以後再登高俯瞰愛丁堡，但我們沒上去已經很滿足，就省下來囉。

The National Monument算是興建一半沒完成的廢墟，好喜歡呀!眼見著不管是中國人還是歐洲人都有爬上去，考量到穿的笨重、可以的施力也小再加上不確定就沒有爬了。

男生們居然搜尋了愛丁堡的中超買了火鍋食材，於是大家晚餐就一起回住處吃，太幸福了!!!

 

晚餐前的小插曲
原本跟女孩們回去路上也去了一趟Sainsbury想買cider和果汁，因為瓶子太多，我幫忙拿果汁和子琳一起去結帳，被要求看護照證明年齡的時候，店員堅持我也要出示(原本會以為只有付錢的人要，或者我拿果汁不需要檢查)，但我沒帶護照，國際學生證上頭有生日卻不被接受。

“I won’t sell you any wine today.”好兇的口氣。

我們只好帥氣連果汁都不要了XD

今天打了國際電話到外婆家拜年，雖然離家的過年心理的難受度比想像中低，也雖然每天都會跟外婆傳line，貼個撒嬌貼圖，聽到熟悉的聲音還是好    想    哭。

 

室友的手機還在校園裡使用的時候被搶走了，警察來了宿舍做筆錄(已經是來英國後第二次身邊發生了:目)，好心疼，也再次證明走在路上不要用手機，白天也一樣，特別是獨自一人的時候!
