為什麼說不只是咖啡廳呢？

Steps with Theera的創辦人Max（來自英國）及 Uang（來自泰國）都因為身邊有自閉症患者，而決定投身特殊教育，幫助需要幫助的孩子。

Max 及 Uang 希望打造一個環境，讓每個人都被這個社會接受他們是誰；一個機會，讓這些孩子有機會學習，並且回饋給社會；一個平台，展現這些孩子們的能力及無限潛力。

The founders of the program, Max from England and Uang from Thailand, decided to create this opportunity for people who have special needs. They are incredibly passionate about this project. Uang’s young son and Max’s younger brother have autism. Their mission is to create a community that everyone is accepted for who they are; an opportunity for the kids to learn and to contribute; a platform showcases the capability and potential.

 

在Steps with Theera，每個桌上都有一些小紙條，你可以寫下任何想要鼓勵這些孩子們的話。

You can find some notes on every table at Steps with Theera, for you to put down anything you want to say to them.

一進到店裡，很難不被這面寫滿鼓勵的話的牆吸引。

牆上有來自不同的語言，來自各個國家的祝福，也有文字/圖畫不同的鼓勵方式。

The notes are from all over the world, with some words or some pictures, to encourage these kids, and this program.

 

等待一杯飲料的時間或許比平常久了一些，但是每一杯都是這些孩子們的用心。

It might take a bit longer to wait for a cup of coffee. But each cup of coffee is definitely tastier than you can imagine.

 

店裡的環境很明亮舒服，座位也很寬敞。
