The Original High這張專輯呢，是當當在2014年和Max Martin and Shellback(還有很多很多人)共同在斯德哥爾摩製作的

(Max&shellback根本黃金二人組 一個大家搶著要的狀態##)

當當也說這次不再炫技 而更著重氛圍和感情唷

The Original High創作概念：

當當表示：「人人都各有會讓自己覺得真正活著的事物。也許是因為愛情，或是腎上腺素的作用。對我而言是登台為觀眾唱歌，那讓我著實的覺得很嗨。

所以說對我而言，這有點像是回頭看看、試著回想到底是什麼讓人感到那樣的悸動。

到底能不能在重製那樣的快感呢？還是不行？我不知道。」

（這算是歌曲兼專輯概念(?) ↑）

 

這首歌對當當也特別有意義，

他被問到最近陪著他的歌詞是什麼?

「他表示說是他的新歌The Original High，

非常能夠反映他的感受，是在講說人們試圖重新塑造"The Original High"

這幾年來他住在好萊塢，城裡的人們一直在尋找一種"東西"，但又不知道究竟為何物?

那種東西，像是一種感覺，一種人們想要重新創造的感覺

The Original High都可能不同，可能是初吻、初夜、第一次開車，對他而言是站上舞台唱歌

我們不可能真的再過一次"第一次"，但是我們試著去這麼做。

裡面的歌詞"chasing the oringinal high"就是在講這種在追求的感覺」
