Netflix｜The Good Doctor

Shaun Murphy is a gifted surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome. As he is being recruited into a surgical unit of a prestigious hospital, his qualification to be an eligible doctor was being questioned. Studies have proved that autism should be identified as a character which differs from the mainstream public but should not be identified as an illness.

 

Shaun Murphy has no problem of building connections with people around him. But he enjoys solitude much like most introverts. Introverts are absolutely more talented in dealing with solitude that they barely suffer from loneliness for the sake of being alone.

 

Shaun is goal-oriented in many ways. I would say, people of the same sorts make good companies for each other. Introverts should not be stigmatized as something negative. Generally, most introverts are attentive listeners. As to my observation, introverts do not gossip about others. They are more cautious in words and behavior.

 

The most wonderful thing about people with autism is that they don’t hide their feelings. They don’t mask their feelings. People value honesty. But, it’s a rare thing in social gatherings.

The leading character Sheldon Cooper is a socially awkward genius. He is not good at hiding his feelings. Or, to be more precisely, he prefers not to. He is good at dealing with solitude and he never suffers from loneliness as the average person. But his mother concerns about his limited social circle. He makes straightforward statements and that’s why I love him.

Netflix ｜Family Reunion

It’s an American comedy web TV series created by Meg DeLoatch and premiered on Netflix in 2019.

 

Plot: The family move to Columbus and live with their grandma and grandfather. Cocoa and Moz’s eldest daughter Jada is totally against living in Columbus and she prefers to go back to Seattle for the sake of her original social circle. Everyone is compelled to adjust to M’Dear’s lifestyle such as giving the kids punishments when they deserve it and going to church which they never do. Jade has to share a room with Ami. But,  Jade ends up sharing a room with M’Dear up in the attic. However….

American Housewife

American Housewife is an American sitcom TV series, which debuted in 2016 on ABC. 

 

The series chronicles the daily life of an average family. Katie’s husband Greg is level-headed, who is a university professor of history, and they have three children. Their eldest teenage daughter Taylor is athletic and somewhat dimwitted who aims to fit in with her peers.  The middle child Oliver is savvy and snarky.  

▼▲The youngest adorable Anna-Kat demonstrates the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).  The drama leads the audience to compare different parenting styles from Katie and her two closest friends: Doris and Angela, a divorced lesbian lawyer. For instance,  she can’t help but stand still whenever the clock is 13 minutes past the hour. Anna-Kat has a tough time making friends in Westport.Her father Greg trying to teach her that “friends are more important than germs.”  

▼▲In real life, the actor DiMaggio lives in Los Angeles with his parents. He is a straight-A student, a cross-country runner. His other interests include traveling and matches of ping pong and so forth.
